> 3 daySo I picked this stick vacuum up after the Facebook algorithm noticed I had some interest in cordless vacuums and began inundating me with ads, you know the ones—This $500 Dyson Dupe is Only $100 on Amazon! and so on. But I ended up looking and buying, so smart marketing. I decided to get the Belife after looking at several of the other similar models because the reviews looked generally best and the battery life and suction seemed to be some of the best at the price point. I wasnt totally opposed to getting one of the more expensive Samsung or Dyson models, but I was in need of a new dust buster kind of vac anyway and I figured even if this didnt end up being good as a real vacuum it could still be a dust buster. And it would also allow me to trial the form factor. Good news! Its a pretty great little vacuum. Reviews and even the product description will temper your expectations on carpet and thats correct–on the highest setting it can do a pretty solid job on fairly low pile carpets and rugs, but even then youll want to move a bit more slowly than you might be used to to ensure youre getting good pickup. For my purposes, thats not a huge concern or drawback, we do have a corded upright (as well as a Crosswave) for more intensive carpeted cleans. For everything else though? Loving it. Our house isnt very big so Ive not run into any real battery life issues; the lowest Ive gotten is about 50%. On hard floors and tile surfaces it picks up great and the ability to lay it flat makes vacuuming under shelves and furniture a breeze. I normally hate m vacuuming but have been doing it near daily week since getting this because its so much easier than hauling out the corded vac. This product doesnt have quite the range of attachments some of the higher end folks do, but its comparable to the attachments youd find on a corded vac at this price point so we cant really think of that as a ding; and besides, those attachments and the main head have succeeded at cleaning what Ive wanted to clean so its really full marks there. For drawbacks, really I only have one. I wish the wall mount either had a way of attaching it without screws (say, using command strips) or that the wall mount was just a floor stand instead. Id prefer not to drill into the wall to mount this, and doubt screws are necessary to accomplish it. The way Id hang it, with the vacuum in the holder the vac would still be resting on the floor, so it doesnt need to take much weight at all. If the manufacturer does want to keep the screw option, Id suggest reducing the bulk of the mounting protrusions on the rear of the mount so that at least users could try other approaches to avoid screws. But thats a bit of a quibble. Otherwise this is performing pretty great for me so far (about three weeks in). Ill assume that the 4, 5, 600 dollar models from Dyson and Samsung and LG are far superior, but theres outstanding bang for the buck here that I think will tend to satisfy most folks who purchase, so long as they dont think a cordless stick vac is supposed to be a direct replacement for a heavier duty upright. That would be a mistake in expectations, probably even for the high end models. If youre on the fence at all and either dont have or dont feel super comfortable spending $400+ I dont think you can go wrong with this. Oh, and if youre here because the Facebook algorithm has pulled you in and you followed a Good Housekeeping link or something and ended up here for budget Dyson dupes, etc? Just buy this one. Itll save you some time and I dont know that theres a dramatically better ~$100 stick vac kicking around anyway.
