Cajun Tie Downs - Hood Loop Anchor Straps - Made in USA

Easy enough to install on my subaru and can tuck them under the hood and leave them on forever. Just as a precaution I stuck on mole tape on the part that will rub on the hood and put painters tape on the hood where the strap hits.

I orginally ordered these to hang a ninja warrior course in my basement as a Christmas present for my kids but the straps were not wide enough and I couldnt find anything else on Amazon. I called Cajun Tie Down and we devised a plan that worked perfectly. Cajun Tie Down created these straps as a special order. I cant thank them enough for their time, concern for safety, customer service, and craftmanship. My kids love the course!

Perfect for us

Easy installation and nice quality. I attached them to an existing bolt point under the hood and leave them under the hood until I need to expose to carry the kayaks. Engine heat, salt water, tension from tie-downs has been no problem. No paint issues on the hood edge where it meets the hood when in use that I have noticed.

These work great! Nothing fancy - but sometimes simple is what you need. Straps appear strong and durable and work well for my application.

Great little loops to get my kayak secured properly.

Rivets are a little weak, one bent a little bit but still gets the job done. Next redesign maybe use heavier rivets and sew in an extra piece of reinforcing fabric that comes in inch past the metal so when the loop is pulled, all the tension isn’t placed directly onto the rivet.

These hood loops are much better quality than most of the other competitors products. Well built and made in the USA.
