These are great for tying canoe on top of vehicle. Had some before but forgot to lift hood & unbolt before selling vehicle so had to get a new set.

I use these to add seat pulls to my bottom backseat.

Worked Great

And thats about it.

Easy enough to install on my subaru and can tuck them under the hood and leave them on forever. Just as a precaution I stuck on mole tape on the part that will rub on the hood and put painters tape on the hood where the strap hits.

These straps worked perfectly. Secured our canoe to our Mazda CX9 without any issues. A great product!

Very clever and easy to install on our Sprinter van for carrying our canoe.

We use our GMC Acadia for hauling our kayaks to local destinations. As with many modern SUVs, there is a lot of plastic in the front of that Acadia. This gives us a solid connection point for the front tie ropes, which in turn makes the kayak carrier more efficient. Our Yukon XL has hooks in the front, but we bought a set of these straps for that, as well, because it provides a more convenient connection point with a more useful rope angle. Time will tell how they hold up over time (we keep them tucked under the hood when not in use), but very happy with the straps now.

Terrible product. Eyehole tore out the minute I tightened my tie down.
