Great idea could be a little longer

Easy installation and nice quality. I attached them to an existing bolt point under the hood and leave them under the hood until I need to expose to carry the kayaks. Engine heat, salt water, tension from tie-downs has been no problem. No paint issues on the hood edge where it meets the hood when in use that I have noticed.

worked very well for a vehicle that didnt have good actor points to apply a bowline directly. Sturdy material.

These are great for tying canoe on top of vehicle. Had some before but forgot to lift hood & unbolt before selling vehicle so had to get a new set.

I bought these to attach to the back liftgate of my mothers small suv. She is very short and cant reach the gate to bring it down after opening it. I attached the straps to the lower part of the inside door panel. It works perfectly for her to close the gate now.

Seems ok but the brass grommet was too thick and would not work on my fender bolts that aren’t very long
