It’s small. It’s lightweight and easy to move. It’s quiet. It’s fills and refills quickly. I can use it at home, at night, while everyone in the house is sleeping with no issues whatsoever.

I have had an old pancake style air compressor for about 20 years now, and I never use it because of the noise it makes. I had wanted an air compressor to use in my shop, but the old one was just too noisy. I saw this little guy and thought that I would give it a shot. I am so glad I did! It is super quiet and ruggedly made. You can hold a normal conversation in the room while it is running. If you are going to use the compressor for a paint sprayer or a sander, you probably need to get a larger unit, but this one is fine for nailing and tire inflation. Save your hearing and get a quiet compressor!

Quit working after 4 months...piece of junk dont buy!!

The decibel ratings do not lie! This is, by far, the quietest compressor I have ever heard! I got the 1P1060SP, so it is a smaller unit, but for small to medium size nail guns this is great! You can actually have a conversation while the compressor is running. Also, it re-fills very quickly, so its not running for very long! I seriously cannot believe I used a standard, noisy compressor for so long!

CALIFORNIA AIR TOOLS makes great products. I have one of their 10020C compressors and it has been great. I wanted a compact compressor to keep at my storage so I purchased this one. Both compressors are very quiet but this one is super quiet. It is what it is. Dont expect to run air tools and the like, but this thing comes in very handy for airing up tires and float toys. Connect it to their AUX10 portable air tank, which I also have, and it can take on bigger jobs. Cant go wrong with California Air Tools products. Highly recommend.

I dont do construction. I wanted a compressor to blow dust off things, clean my Roomba, de crud my garage--in other words, minor household tasks. And I didnt want to be deafened in the process. This fits the bill perfectly. Its soooo quiet, easy to move around, simple to use. One of my contractor friends was so impressed hes looking into a heavy duty model for his purposes.

Like the size and noise level, but one gallon of compressed air doesn’t last very long! I should have gotten a2 gallon tank! Other than that it’sa great product!
