> 3 dayI bought this to use in my computer repair shop instead of going through those costly air cans. This compressor pumps fast and was so quiet I couldnt believe it. Been using it now for a couple months and works like a champ, would highly recommend to anyone that needs silence in their shop, and needs to blow air or pump some tires up. Doesnt have enough power to run air tools at this size, but they have larger compressors that I am sure would work for that particular use case.

> 3 dayI unpacked the compressor, plugged it in and waited for it to reach operating pressure. It never did because the manifold that accepts the air chuck was cracked and therefor leaked. The manifold itself is made of a brittle and fragile, low quality cast metal. it ideally should be brass or, at least, a beefy grey cast iron. Very disappointing.

> 3 dayWe had a larger compressor, this one is so much easier to use. Love the small size and quieter noise level. Its easy to set up and put away.

> 3 dayReally quiet but not enough power ! I use it for my airbrush , if you going to need it for bigger things I would recommend a bigger one !

Greater than one weekI bought this compressor to be the main air supply for my garage/shop. I am surprised that such a small compressor has been able to help me clear chips so well on my milling machine. I have even driven an air ratchet for short durations. It has done everything I could have asked of it. For my needs, I should have gone a size bigger but I already have a heavy-duty air compressor. The fact that the heavy-duty compressor hasnt been turned on since I bought this compressor is testament to how well it works. On a secondary note, when I received the compressor, it would turn on by itself. I called California Air and spoke with their support tech; an honest to god human being!!! One who actually had a clue as to what they were talking about!! They walked me through several things and they were about to send out a new compressor when I noticed that the tab that holds the lever for the on/off switch was not bent out far enough to allow the arm to extend back quite far enough to stay in the off position. I took some pliers and bent the tab out slightly so the arm went a few more degrees to the off position and it has been perfect ever since. But to have that kind of service is unheard of these days. Great product, great people. I will not buy from anyone else from now on.

> 3 dayI cant believe I used noisy and low CFM pancake compressors for so long. This little beauty is quiet, and recovers fast with its big bore compressor. A bit heavier than I expected, the description specified the weight, but it just feels heavier. Still way lighter than a 2 gal Makita which I had initially bought, but returned. The only negative is that it doesnt have a cord wrap.

> 3 dayThis unit is very quiet. No one has exaggerated that. Mine arrived in good shape with no issues. Via a 6-foot host I connected a external regulator / water trap and 4-port manifold at my airbrushing station. No leaks as far as I can tell. Compressor startup is quiet and doesnt make me jump while airbrushing. Fills quickly and then shuts off. I have the compressor output set at around 50 psi so it never gets as low as the external regulator. Pressure at the airbrush is good all the time. Im more than satisfied with this compressor for airbrushing. I wont be trying it for inflating tires or running nailers and such. I have bigger compressors for that kind of work.

> 3 dayFirst and most important - Quiet is an understatement, you almost don’t realize it’s running - roll cage protects the manifold and gauges and compact enough to easily be tucked away under the workbench - got it for my 80yo father who still tinkers in the shop daily - it’s light enough he can carry it around and I can talk to him with it running w/o shouting - air flow/output is impressive from this quiet and compact workhorse, should have got it several years ago

> 3 daySo much quieter when I am doing laser cutting and it was a great addition. Doesn’t hold pressure too long but it was worth the $ for less headache from a louder air compressor. Worth it!

Greater than one weekWOW, its hard to believe but this is really the quietest compressor that I have ever used. its super quiet and perfect for indoor use. The tank is small and doesnt have much capacity, but for a brad nailer its perfect. The fill up time is quick and just takes a minute or so. Just dont expect a high air flow and you wont be disappointed.
