> 3 dayI ordered this in July but it was late August before I got around to opening it. My plan was to use it as an air assist for my laser. It worked fine for about 2 months and then it died. After doing all of the regular checkings of everything, I sent an email to customer service. I got no answer for three days so I called them. The guy I got was almost dismissive of my issues. He told me that I should have bought a bigger unit. He told me that the thermal switch is probably bad or needs to be reset. He also said that the only way to get it fixed is to send it to them. IN CALIFORNIA. so I have to spend $30 or $40 to even have them look at it. Its still under warranty but I guess I am going to have to eat the cost of getting it fixed rather than them sending me the part they think is bad. At some point, I will take it apart and see what I can see but I just bought something else for now. So, if you buy this thing realize that it is only designed to be used in short spurts according to the guy. It may be quiet but it wont hold up under demanding use, and by demanding use, I think I ran it a few days per week for about 8 hours per day with the on-and-off cycles. This might be good for airbrushing or something with very low air pressure requirements but I wouldnt count on it for anything much more demanding than that. Maybe they should include duty cycle expectations in the description.

> 3 dayWOW, its hard to believe but this is really the quietest compressor that I have ever used. its super quiet and perfect for indoor use. The tank is small and doesnt have much capacity, but for a brad nailer its perfect. The fill up time is quick and just takes a minute or so. Just dont expect a high air flow and you wont be disappointed.

> 3 daySeems like a decent product. Relatively quiet. Wish that I could get more psi out of it as I mainly use it for bicycle tires which generally require 100 psi plus and the tank pressure has to fall pretty far before the compressor starts up again.

> 3 daySo much quieter when I am doing laser cutting and it was a great addition. Doesn’t hold pressure too long but it was worth the $ for less headache from a louder air compressor. Worth it!

> 3 dayI purchased this compressor mainly for airbrushing anything from textiles to game miniatures. If Im able to fill up a low car tire or other inflatables, that is a bonus. Although I have not had the opportunity to use it for inflating low car tires, it does work perfectly for indoor airbrushing. The motor runs quiet enough for indoor use. It does vibrate a bit if used on a slick surface like the tile floors I have in my craft room, but placing it against something to prevent it from moving is easy enough. I highly recommend this compressor for airbrushing due to the cost and low noise factor. EDIT: Still a great compressor. I have used it to top off the air pressure in my car tires and it worked great. I did need to purchase an air compressor accessory kit that had a tire chuck and air hose.

> 3 dayWe had a larger compressor, this one is so much easier to use. Love the small size and quieter noise level. Its easy to set up and put away.

Greater than one weekI used to own a pancake compressor that would frighten my dog when it kicked on. This thing is quiet, well built, and is an awesome deal. Ive only used it to shoot nails, but I did quite a few. It worked with zero faults and it even fills fast. Under a minute from no air in the tank to full. Its solid and well built. I feel like it weighs slightly more than my porter cable pancake compressor, but theyre real close in weight. I thought the 1 gallon size would be too small, but it fired off nails as fast as I could pull the trigger. This is totally worth the ~$115 I paid for it. If I get another compressor, Im going with a California tools one. I love what theyre doing.

Greater than one weekIt really is quiet, compared to others. I love it. For me, it is a little heavy. I can move it around the garage with ease, but it I need to take it somewhere else, I put it in my utility wagon. It recovers quickly for my needs. I mainly use it to blow the dust out of my car, or off something I am going to paint.

> 3 dayBought as a replacement for my Senco nailer used for trim work. This unit is considerably heavier and a litlle larger. Seems to put out more air. Love it.
