What is that? My friend said. It’s my air compressor. It’s so quiet! I use this in my golf shop and you barely hear it when it turns on. Good pressure and lightweight. I hope it lasts.

Quietest air compressor on the market. Quick connect fitting on compressor was faulty. Had to replace. Thus a star taken away.

It’s small. It’s lightweight and easy to move. It’s quiet. It’s fills and refills quickly. I can use it at home, at night, while everyone in the house is sleeping with no issues whatsoever.

I laughed in astonishment when I turned it on. It is SO QUIET! it fills up fast too. Im going to get a larger one as well, but this little compressor is awesome! Good work California Air Tools

I purchased this because it was supposed quite, compact and only weigh 29lbs. It is quiet once you put the filter on it, it is not 29lbs the ship weight shown on the label is 36lbs. The product description shows 29lbs then if you scroll down and read all the details it discloses the unit weighs 34lbs. Id say its between 34-36lbs which is my first reason for 4 stars. It builds pressure quietly and quickly. My second reason for 4 stars because the first one I was shipped was used and must have been a return. The box was taped over about 4 different times and one of the rubber feet on it was split. Im annoyed by this since I had to box it all back up and waste my time taking it to a UPS store and wait for another to be delivered. Amazon sent me another no charge, it was brand new never opened this time. The hose connection fitting on the replacement leaks air when a hose is not attached which is my 3rd reason for 4 stars. I did contact California tools and they replied promptly the part is in the mail. I appreciate them stepping up and making right. Overall I am happy with the performance of such a small compressor.

I was eagerly awaiting this compressor. And I didn’t have to wait long. My pancake compressor which was bought used, but hardly used began to have regulator issues. Not to mention it was so loud! I decided to go with this due to all of the good reviews. It is a very attractive addition to my shop, and is so easy to use. The one gallon tank is the only thing that I may rethink. But it is also the reason that I don’t hesitate to fire it up any time I need it. Plus it fills quickly and quietly! The air release valve is smartly placed right up front compared to underneath the unit with an annoying screw valve. I have used it a few times with a brad nailer, and it works great. Just don’t expect it to be rapid fire due to the one gallon tank.

Quit working after 4 months...piece of junk dont buy!!

The decibel ratings do not lie! This is, by far, the quietest compressor I have ever heard! I got the 1P1060SP, so it is a smaller unit, but for small to medium size nail guns this is great! You can actually have a conversation while the compressor is running. Also, it re-fills very quickly, so its not running for very long! I seriously cannot believe I used a standard, noisy compressor for so long!

As an airbrush artist doing paintings in my home studio compressor noise is a BIG DEAL. I usually stay up late at night and a standard compressor can wake the dead. This California air tools is hardly noticed.
