i wouldnt roof a house with this but for jobs here and there in the garage it couldnt be better. bought it for my 65 year old dad and he thinks its the best thing ever. nail guns, staplers, filling tires etc. dont be a pendejo and overwork it. its not for a jobsite. its for around the house. great product.

Super quiet, powerful, and small and portable. Works well for small jobs around the house like filling bike tires and blowing out computers. However, tried to use it for a third time and it completely died. Worked for about 10 minutes and then nothing. Tried everything to get it to work. Past return date so contact California Air tools to see about returning it. Customer service was AWESOME and directed us to a secret reset button. Turns out that if your compressor gets accidentally unplugged during use (which was the case for us), you have to push this button to reset the compressor. Location of reset button not noted anywhere in instruction manual. Pushed reset button and compressor came back to life.

Great customer service , very quiet , no leaks , using for airbrushing at the moment . The pressure gauge (- +)screw has a crack in it , doesn’t look like a big deal, update 1: contacted customer service day i bought it, new part is on its way .great service for sure Update 2: just received the replacement , honestly amazed of how everything was taken care of instantly

Very quiet running, easy to carry. Bought to use with Brad nailer. Wouldve rated 5 stars but received damage on plastic cover on back of compressor. Does not affect performance of unit. No damage to outside of box.

What is that? My friend said. It’s my air compressor. It’s so quiet! I use this in my golf shop and you barely hear it when it turns on. Good pressure and lightweight. I hope it lasts.

You have to hear this to fully appreciate how truly quiet it is. You can hold a quiet conversation with this running right next to you and never have to raise your voice. Im blown away how well it performs. Best compressor Ive ever had! I literally run that night in my basement and wife cannot hear it in room above me.

Great product

I unpacked the compressor, plugged it in and waited for it to reach operating pressure. It never did because the manifold that accepts the air chuck was cracked and therefor leaked. The manifold itself is made of a brittle and fragile, low quality cast metal. it ideally should be brass or, at least, a beefy grey cast iron. Very disappointing.

I set this product up in my garage for general use. Work Bench, Tires, Stuff, What I found out right away is that if your using this product for like a nail gun, it works just fine. It does not work well on its own when you need a little more than a quick puff of compressed air. I purchased an extra 5 gal air tank and added it to the system. This gave me more volume when using. Good product, Very Quite, It is not fast but does a good job. If I had to do it over again I would by the same product but with more air volume.

I do not take much time to rate consumable items and this is my first review in more than a year. I must tell you this item met 100% of my need. It runs fine with my framing nailer and is super quiet. I am not measuring decibels, rather making a general statement. I am 100% Completely Satisfied with this California Air Tools Air Compressor model 1P1060SP. Thank you much!
