> 3 dayIve had this hose for over 4 years now and have used it many times in the travel trailer. I also have the 10 version to use when the trailer is much closer to the water outlet at campgrounds. I wish I could use the 10 footer all the time, but many times I need to get the 25 hose out, which drives me nuts. Its a real pain to put back in the storage bin if its slightly cold out as it wont coil up neatly and I have to fling it all around to get it to curve correctly so it goes in the bin. It has several kinks in it that wont go away. So, yeah, not anti-kink in my opinion and its been that way ever since I got it. (Didnt realize I hadnt reviewed it until I was searching my orders for another hose I purchased a few years ago.) Im about ready to toss it as I just ordered another 10 footer and will connect the two together when I need to. The good thing about the hose - knock wood, its never leaked or split in the years of periodic usage. But, yeah, anti-kink is a lie. Cant really address the hooking issue as I have it hooked to a Hose-Grip from J Wright Concepts, which is wonderful and a device every camper needs!

Greater than one weekI used this hose to build my winter-camping (cold weather) freshwater supply hose. I followed the RVGEEKS video on how to use heat tape to keep your water supply from freezing up (also see my review of M-D Building Products 64444 30-Foot Pipe Heating Cable for some slight diversions from the RVGEEKS video). The cost of building my own winter hose includes the cost of this Camco hose, the heat tape, foil tape, plus good quality pipe insulation is probably on par with buying an already-built heated hose from Amazon or Camping World. Why did I do it? Because I have read too many bad reviews about the off-the-shelf heated hoses. Many people claim they didnt work and that the valves in the hoses popped off. So Im trying my own build. I saved a little money, and I enjoy these projects anyway. Hopefully my setup will prevent water freeze-ups for the rare times when Im camping in sub-freezing weather.

> 3 dayThats it. They are great hoses, but almost impossible to use if the temps drop. I am shopping for something new.

> 3 dayNeeded a garden hose for my garden that isnt toxic. I have grandchildren and who doesnt drink from the water hose? Did not want to water my veggies with a toxic hose. Hard to find one that doesnt have chemical s that lead to prostate cancer, etc.

> 3 dayAttaching the female end to the spigot isnt easy and since this is an RV hose it will be need to be done many times. The collar is too smooth. Its almost round which makes the grip when turning very slippery.

> 3 dayReplaced a 5 year old identical hose because it became brittle with constant exposure to the sun. I put a section of fire hose over the end that is exposed to direct sunlight and it has been doing very well holding up.I would definitely recommend, but if exposed to direct sunlight cover it up to make it last longer.

Greater than one weekGreat hose. Only gripe is it always wants to recoil to its packaged shape. Wish it would relax and straighten out without having to fight it. Tough hose though.

> 3 dayIt fits into my Winnebago Revel fresh water tank. It is easy to use and compact for a 25 foot hose. I don’t know yet what it’ll taste since this is my first summer using and living out of the RV for a road trip. I’m just going to use the water for washing dishes/etc. and eventually brush my teeth.
