Best vale for f-1.8 lens. If you have cropped sensor please get 35mm first instead of 50mm.

This lens is a classic lens. It is a good workhorse lens. Good for portraits in a pinch. Great depth of field. I use it for macro photography with a small lens extension.

I paid $125 for this lens in Target and then saw it on here with other items. Went ahead and returned the other lens and purchased this one. The lens is identical but I’m actually really impressed with the quality of the other items the kit came with. The filters aren’t cheap plastic. The lens hood is pretty solid. Everything else was a bonus and I’m super impressed with this kit. BUY IT!

Update: I had 2 of these and the AF is definitely buggy. The AF would go blurry, and stay blurry, at random intervals, in any shooting environment. The photos I got from it were great, but I went with the 24-70mm f2.8L instead
