Canon EF-S 55-250mm F4-5.6 is STM

This is a great lens. I keep it on the camera all the time. However, it is not adequate for taking bird pictures. I have gotten some excellent pictures of birds and wildlife with this lens but one cannot get close enough to the subject if you are doing this type of photograpy. For what the lens is designed for, it is great. Operates as it should, no problems, good quality.

Bought for my X Wife who left me. If you see her with it tell her shes missing out. Life is better without her.

Ill start this review by saying that Im _VERY_ new to digital photography, and picked up a Canon Rebel T3 in a very aggressively-priced box set about a month ago. The kit came with the standard 15-50mm non-IS lens, and that only left me happy for about two weeks.

I got this lens as part of a bundle and thoroughly enjoy it. It produces quality pictures and can be used for basic astrophotography.
