First things first, this product has already done its job. My little granddaughter took a header and bonked her head on my fireplace. The cushion saved the day, she is fine. The product is easy to cut, looks nice, and provides peace of mind. My only complaint is, it could stick better than it does, I am considering buying a roll of double-back tape to keep it in place.

The stone that we have are uneven so the adhesive didn’t really work that well. I have put it together with a glue gun and hope it stays on more. You can still see the seams and there’s one piece where it’s different from the rest. *see pic*. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to do unless my toddler rips it off which can be done so easily. Better looking than me placing a bunch of throw blankets on it.

This product offers peace of mind with my grandchild in our home. The foam is dense and comes with double sided tape that is fairly sticky. I say fairly because my grandchild has removed a section. It arrives with corner pieces and the rest is in sections, not a roll. I would have preferred a roll, to customize my hearth instead of having to add such a small piece (as shown in the photo).

Adhered great, easy to install, thick and looks nice on our raised hearth. If possible, it would be nice to be able to purchase additional long sections as the largest kit does not quite reach all sides. Love the product!

With our first kid we put the coffee table in front of our fireplace to avoid any injuries. We recently ordered a new table and wanted to use it when it came in and now we can! This went on very easy and has stayed on! We are so glad we purchased this!

I really like this product. It has protected our babys head and chin on many occasions. The adhesive is strong enough to hold on our brick hearth, even when our baby uses it as a handle to pull up on. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to keep their baby from injury from the fireplace hearth.

Product easy to cut with a razor knife, a little practice to make cuts square, but that is not a product issue. More a user issue. I cleaned the brick with a shop vac before attaching and even though a rough surface brick it stuck real well. Each piece I gently pressed down, then leaned against the face of it, and then walked on the top surface. It has been over a month a not a hint of a sticking issue. If it does come loose, the same 3M double sided tape is readily available to re-apply. I had just cringed watching my daughters one year old play or walk near the corners of the hearth. A cheap simple fix. Dont hesitate, just of the piece of mind

I really wanted the metal backed guard since they stay on better, but my hearth is too wide at 108”. While this is more than other stick-on foam guards, it seems a lot more protective. Many of the others show the foam in a coil: you couldn’t roll this up if you tried due to the density, so it comes as a few straight sections and corner pieces, which to me seems better quality and more protective than something that could easily be rolled up.

The dimensions seemed to have been misleading.
