The rubber is nice and easy to cut to get it right. After cutting mine to fit, I flipped the pieces upside down, and without uncovering the factory adhesive, I taped the pieces together from the back side, to make one solid edge cover. It fits good, it looks good, and its heavy enough to stay put without using the adhesive to hold it in place.

It doesn’t stretch. But you can cut to fit. It add a lot of security to our fireplace and a lot of peace of mind when babies are crawling or running around the house. We love it

We wanted something to protect our son from the bricks on our fireplace that didn’t look ridiculous. My husband found this product and it’s exactly what we were looking for. It’s a nice foam with adhesive on the back. You can purchase different colors. The only issue with the install is that you have to cut the foam and it’s kind of hard to cut it straight because it’s squishy. My husband found it easier to cut from the outside than the inside. Overall it came out great and we would recommend this product to anyone.

We are watching our granddaughter who is now 15 months old. We have been worrying even before she walked about how to make the fireplace hearth as safe as possible. This product did the trick. It was so easy to install and blends into the brick hearth. I love that it is made from a nonflammable material which allows us to continue to use the fireplace. I would recommend this product.

It fit great, with only a little measuring and cutting. The color we chose goes very well with our hearth color. And it’s adhesive was very sticky, so little hands won’t be able to pull it off.

If you have little ones... dont think twice... I was always really nervous when kids played in the living room. Our daughter once tripped and slit her chin on the edge of the fireplace and had to get stitches. Im grateful we came across this. It still has the nice clean look and adds much safety. I bought these to keep our new Grand Daughter safe. Many years ago our daughter was learning to walk, fell and hit her forehead on our fireplace hearth resulting in 60 stitches! I am pretty impressed with the density and protective qualities of this product. Easy to measure and trim and adhesion is good enough to last until she is beyond the danger zone age. Were happy, shes safe!!!
