> 3 dayI absolutely love this game. Its peaceful and fun. You can play with a few friends or by yourself. This is the first game Ive ever played like it kind of like a puzzle and board game all in one.

12-06-2025Puzzly game with enough depth to keep things interesting. Easy to teach, learn and play. Played three player and was good at that player count. Nice art.

16-06-2025Ordered this game for my buddy, it was $34ish then. The game was absolutely amazing component-wise. I may eventually buy myself a copy, I recommended my other friend buy it as a Christmas gift for his in-laws because it’s such an easy game to play and has enough decision making to make it feel good. The entire package is really cool though: wooden animal discs, cardboard hexes that are decently thick, a drawstring bag made from a premium material compared to other game drawstring bags. Scoring is based on the animal cards drawn before the game and the layout of your habitat tokens. The game is a blast, just buy it.

11-06-2025The game supports more than two players, but its great at two also. Players take turns selecting from terrain/animal pairs each turn and placing them in their Tableau. You score based on varying conditions. Ex. A chain of salmon, for each pair of bears, most of a terrain type, etc. Its very easy to learn and teach. I would classify it as a light game. Placing times can require some thought and present opportunity for analysis paralysis. Since there are multiple ways to score, players can attempt victory with unique paths. The terrain tiles are cardboard, easy to read, and easy to identify the iconography. The animal chits are wooden and very nice quality. I highly recommend this game for casual gamers.

> 3 dayHaving played Wingspan for a few years and not finding suitable competition, we were excited to come across this gem! We are obsessed with Wingspan, so it seemed impossible that we would have found a game that was just as fun. There are a few similar elements of other games such as Carcassonne, Planet, and Catan. Cascadia has bonus cards that try to mimic the animals’ behaviors (which is very similar to brown powers in Wingspan). We felt like this purchase was worth every penny- now we have two favorite games instead of one.

> 3 daySo easy to learn, heavily luck based but still some skill needed. You can easily screw yourself in this game if you arent paying attention. Ive focused to heavily on one thing a few times and ended up with a horrible score. I have yet to tire of this game. A fun quick solitaire.

> 3 dayLike doing two puzzles simultaneously. I love the nature theme. I’ve spent hours playing both solo and with others. I highly recommend it for board game lovers

Greater than one weekMy family plays Catan constantly and this game has begun to become more popular. There are no shady deals to be made and it relies more on your own strengths that anything else.
