Classic Messenger Bag - Durable, Water-Resistant, fits 13, 15, 17 Laptop

I really like it!

Third Timbuk2 bag Ive had, and like the others, its built to last and has all the eassential features.

This thing is great! I just had to get used to the strap and locking mechanism, but that was like 10 mins of use. I dont use this daily because I dont have that kind of job or lifestyle, but have used it when I can afford to travel. Its very comfortable and can hold all of my stuff. Still, I think its a little expensive but definitely worth the money if you need to use it daily.

I really love this bag except the piece that allows me to adjust the strap length always comes open and the whole strap comes out. I have to readjust it every time I pick it up.

I carry this bag everyday to and from work. It is the perfect size.

Great messenger bag, just the right size for everyday use. It fits my iPad 2(Yes an iPad 2), a 32 oz water bottle, my mirrorless camera and various other small items. I wanted something small enough that it doesnt get in the way yet big enough to hold a few essential items. I like buckle on the strap, it allows for very easy adjustments while I am out and about.

I have had the canvas, medium sized timbuk2 for three years now! I dont usually write reviews, but Ive had enough problems with this bag that I feel like people looking to invest this amount of money should know before purchasing this bag.

I absolutely love this bag. I commute by boat and move around through Boston via public transit and this bag has really made it easier for me to drag around a days worth of crap. It has a great series of small pockets for things I need to keep organized and more importantly, dry! We have suddenly turned into Seattle here in Boston with lots of unexpected rain and this bag lets me fit a pair of shoes, a lunchbox, books, files, both my work and personal phone, and occasionally a jacket. Its so great to not juggle a ton of stuff and just throw the strap across me and go. Also, the quick release clip in the side is amazing.

I love this bag! Medium is quite roomy, larger than expected but still great. The new upgrades are great and are what made me go back to timbuktu. I didnt like the original style. The straps were terrible, way to wide, stiff and uncomfortable. They were durable but that didnt matter if they were ridiculously uncomfortable.

Timbuk2 has an interesting history. They began life as a legitimate bike messenger bag, made by a former bike messenger, but he was smart enough to see that there were more hipsters (we didnt use that term in the 90s) as well as yuppies (a term we DID use back then) as potential customers than actual bike messengers, so he designed yuppie/hipster friendly features into his messenger bag. The best example of this type of user is the fictional character Mike Ross in Suits, who started out as a slacker/pot delivery person on a bike with a bike messenger bag, and ended up a $1000-suited lawyer with a...you guessed it...bike messenger bag as his briefcase of choice.
