Clover Gold Eye Embroidery Needles Size 3-9 - 16 Pack

Arrived on time and was as described. I have not actually used them yet, but they look to be exactly what I wanted.

These are wonderful embroidery needles. I have recently begun embroidering again after not doing it for a number of years. I found the package of hand sewing needles I had picked up to embroidery with were uncomfortable to sew with. If I sewed for longer than a few minutes, the eye end of the needle was really sharp, too, and it made my hand very sore from the constant poking when I pulled the thread in and out. The needle also started bending in an arch the longer I used it. I was then fortunate enough to notice these needles that are actually made for embroidery work, and they are wonderful! They are much more substantial then the hand sewing needles I was using, the eye end is not sharp, and they are easier to thread. I highly recommend these needles for embroidery work, or any other hand sewing needs.

I sew occasionally, mostly using needles to mend a tear, or sew a button. Once a while Ill put some craft kits together for the holidays. I finally decided to spring for better needles when I got fed up with cheapo needles that would snap in the middle of a mend job, or the needle eyes that are so so tiny it takes forever to insert a new thread. I decided to buy these based on the reviews here. Wow. What a big difference these needles feel! I can feel the weight and construct of the item is far superior to anything I have used in the past. The large golden eyes made it a cinch to thread. The needles are sharp and push through the fabric easily and smoothly. I wished I made the switch earlier! If you are sitting on the fence about this, go ahead and try them!

I found these needles to really help with my Hexie beginner project. These needles glide a little better than the universal hand sewing needle and they are shaper. The sharpness makes it easier to insert the needle because I’m working with with various fabric thickness. I haven’t had any break yet but Overall I’m satisfied so far.

I do embroidery with floss and crewel with wool. These needles are perfect for embroidery with floss. I like the variety of sizes in the pack. As I change floss colors, I leave the needle threaded so that I can rapidly change colors using a pre-threaded needle, rather than using only one needle and changing the floss all the time. There are enough needles in this packet to be able to have a bunch of floss already threaded. I then stick the threaded needles into a piece of fabric to hold them, ready for use. I like Clover brand as they are easy to thread and remain sharp.

I dont know how they can afford to sell this set for such a good value?! There are quite a few needle in here and theyre really good quality. The gold opening make it so much easier to find. Love em!
