> 3 dayI always buy the Japanese brand Clover products. High quality throughout. These needles are plenty sharp, but I’m disappointed to find the holes narrow and small, and as expected, even smaller on the smallest needles. Will make do with thread threader.

> 3 dayI have tried many different types of embroidery needles. With embroidery needles, you are looking for a large eye to thread the thicker than normal thread easily. These have that. You are also looking for a needle that doesnt bend easily from pressure, as many stitches require intricate movement. These needles are strong and dont bend easily. The most important thing, though, is that the needle is narrow and very sharp so that it glides through fabrics easily so your hands do not become fatigued and so you dont damage the fabric. With many brands of needles to get that you give up the strength of the needle, meaning it will become bent more easily. Clover golden eye needles do not sacrifice strength for sharpness and narrowness. This is the best brand of embroidery needle that I have ever used, and I have been doing embroidery for 50 years. I highly recommend these.

> 3 dayThese needles are great but if you are using them for embroidery (especially if practicing for the first time) then be wary that they have a difficult time getting through the fabric that you can get in bulk. If you use something to help assist in pulling it through other than your hand the needle will break. They are nice and sharp and I would recommend them for fabrics that are lighter and less weighted.

> 3 dayThese needles are awesome! I mainly use them for embroidery on denim but they have really become my go to needles for just about any sewing. They stay sharp for a long time and hold up very well when sewing through thick seams over and over.

> 3 dayNot as nice as John James needles, but a very nice quality. The eyes are smooth and easy to thread with crewel wool or embroidery floss, and the price is reasonable. I prefer chenille needles for crewelwork.

Greater than one weekI found these needles to really help with my Hexie beginner project. These needles glide a little better than the universal hand sewing needle and they are shaper. The sharpness makes it easier to insert the needle because I’m working with with various fabric thickness. I haven’t had any break yet but Overall I’m satisfied so far.
