> 3 dayI bought these for my renewed interest in embroidery. I didnt read the description properly. I thought I was getting 14 needles, but its 16 packs of 14! So the price is excellent. I like the needles. They dont snag, are sharp and go through the fabric cleanly. Only disadvantage for me is they are quite short. My other needles Im used to are longer and a little easier to use. Shortest is 3.5cm, longest is 4.5.

> 3 dayI do crafts for a living. Im starting to have a lot of problems with my right hand and I need needles that will glide easily in and out of the fabric. Its really hard for me to have to push a needle that doesnt want to glide in.. Ive tried all kinds of needles that Ive found available at local stores, but needles seem to be made cheaper and cheaper (while costing more and more) and just are not very sharp.. I decided to look on amazon, because I trust other customers feedback about products. I ordered these based on its feedback, and Im so glad I did.. They come in a variety of sizes, are easy to thread and glide through the fabrics easily, which is so much easier on my wrist and hand.. I use craft velours, doe suedes, fleece, and every kind of cotton fabric you can think of, as well as embroider, and these work really, really well on everything Ive tried them on. They are long enough so theyre easy to control, but not too long... Just the right size.. Ill be ordering another pack because I use needles for so many things..

> 3 dayI would have given this a higher rating if the needles had actually fit the desktop threader which I thought they would, but they didn’t. Overall, Clover makes good products, though.

> 3 dayI love these Clover gold eye embroidery needles. Very smooth with no barbs, large oval eyes that are easier to thread. I tend to use the larger (#3) needles just because I am getting older and the eyes are larger. They are still small enough in diameter for all except my finest embroidery work. I also use them with yarn for my crewel work unless the yarn is extra thick. Then I have to go to

> 3 dayI always buy the Japanese brand Clover products. High quality throughout. These needles are plenty sharp, but I’m disappointed to find the holes narrow and small, and as expected, even smaller on the smallest needles. Will make do with thread threader.

Greater than one weekI used this for cross stitching. Needles broke on at a time.

> 3 dayI needed a larger needle to hand quilt using DMC perle cotton 8. These needles are great. Easy to thread and very smooth. I’m using the largest size, which I believe is a 3. Nice needles.

> 3 dayThis is a great needle. I love the Gold Eye needles for hand embroidery and cross stitch. The quality is very good, and Ive never had a problem with any of the Gold Eye needles. I would recommend these to any crafter who uses threads to embellish or create.
