CMT 806.690.11B Flush Trim Bit with Double Bearing, 2-Inch Cutting Length and 1/2-Inch Shank

Use this bit daily for work and it is still the best bit Ive ever had regardless of price. This is how router bits should be.

This is a great tool. I cut several curved pieces for a cradle with this and a template. Some 1.5 inch thick birch.

The router bit arrived in a corrosion condition. Protective paint partially missing.

It seems like a very strong bit,I used it cutting end grain walnut and it handled the job with ease

Sturdy and smooth. Can easily remove the end bearing (with the right tool) if necessary.

The plastic case was cracked upon arrival, but the bit worked very nicely.

This is a large bit, so you need to reduce router speed when using it. The top and bottom bearings make it suitable for pattern following and/or edge trimming. Generally CMT makes excellent bits, so I expect this to last. I am retired and a DIY woodworker and I am in my shop pretty much every day, so my tools and bits are used frequently. Not a production shop, but not quite a weekend warrior either.
