Greater than one weekDid just what I wanted it to do. I used it to trim and square the edge of a 1.5 cherry counter top. The slight shearing angle on the two knives really help make a smooth edge and it also helps router on really thick wood.

> 3 dayA solid bit. I needed to make little doors for a puzzle box. I created three templates for the door frames: a circle, square, and an arched square. I made it out of 3/4 oak ply, and this bit handled each with ease. I made templates for the actual doors. These are made of 3/4 red oak. I set my router in my table, hot glued the templates of the door to the top of the oak, then routed out the outside, running the bottom bearing on the top template, until I had a perfect match. It took a couple of passes, but the final product is solid. A pricey bit but some of the best money Ive spent. I ordered a similar Yonico bit prior to this, but it performed poorly for my needs. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayI have been using router bits from Whiteside and Freud but tried this one out because I needed it for a single project I was billing to a client and decided to give it a try as it was $5-$10 cheaper than the brands I usually buy. I was pleasantly surprised at how well made, sharp and how well it performed. After purchasing this and finding out how well it worked I also tried a rabbeting bit with 1/4 shaft and have to say that the CMT router bits performed as well as the more expensive bits I have been purchasing.

> 3 dayI used this bit to shape some ash. It did the job, but afterwards I checked the bit and half of it was severely damaged. I want trying to push too much wood through. One and done I guess.

> 3 dayThis is a large bit, so you need to reduce router speed when using it. The top and bottom bearings make it suitable for pattern following and/or edge trimming. Generally CMT makes excellent bits, so I expect this to last. I am retired and a DIY woodworker and I am in my shop pretty much every day, so my tools and bits are used frequently. Not a production shop, but not quite a weekend warrior either.
