Makes a huge mess. Water became very cloudy after I added the bio-balls.

The product is great I use it for my sunbeam canister 4 stage filter.

We recently did some upgrading in our home and the smell of paint was everywhere, we tried everything to get rid of paint fumes but should have started with buying these magical smell removers. Carbon is AWFUL never rinses clear!! it will ruin the quality of your water. the bio balls and ceramic rings are fine, but its cheaper to buy more of them separately.

I have bought several media kits from this seller. Don’t read the negative reviews for which I ignored. I am very happy with my purchases. I rinse the media well before using. Isn’t a negative factor since the amount you receive is far greater than smaller filter media. So of course you would have to rinse them a little longer before use. I will continue to purchase these kits from this seller. Great value for the money and packaged very well!

I could have given a 5, but the Carbon bag was just charcoal, I washed it and washed, and the Carbon kept dissolving, good thing I order a box of carbon/amonia reducer..it almost killed my fishes. Besides that, the ceramic rings and bioballs were OK.

Helps keep my tank clean and free of ammonia
