These functioned exactly as they were meant to. I just thought they were rinse and go, but the charcoal has been particularly more involved to get clean.i took it out of the net bag I think i was supposed to.

Decent quality carbon. Normally replace bag in 75 gallon aquarium every 2 months. Min bio-load 15 cichlids 4 inches.
