CNZ® Aquarium Filter Media Kits (Double Pack) - Activated Carbon, bio Ball, Ceramic Ring

I bought this product so I can get the reusable bags and test out the carbon. Easy to use and seems to work well.

Just what I needed

amazing water quality transformation. The next morning after putting material in my canister filter my water was immediately clear and happy looking fish.

This media kit works great and saved a ton of money over purchasing each item individually. This amount of each media was perfect for the SunSun 402b canister filter.

Does the job

I wish I could give this 4.5 because the only thing wrong is the bags are pretty dusty and need mucho water running thru them to rinse the dust out, plus a couple of the bags already have small holes in them. Nothing earth shattering, just minor faults. I expect it will be much easier to use these pre-loaded bags vs loading my own bags by buying a canister of carbon plus three 3-packs of bags (they wear out, cant use them much more than twice). Its just carbon, so not much to go wrong once the dust gets rinsed away - but if the carbon in these (or any bags) are installed without adequate rinsing first the aquarium water becomes quite black with carbon dust.

By far one of the best sets of filter media for a beginner in turtle cleanliness definitely recommend to anyone who is buying and setting up their new canister filter or their DIY

Good and cheap

very good price for the money. if bought separate it get very expensive. I have a forty gallon tank and had hanging filter that uses screen filter that was very expensive. I used one filter a day (two 8 inch gold fish) to keep the water clean.I purchase a canister filter and change Filter Media every 6-7 weeks. Save me a bunch of money..
