Im physically challenged wheelchair bound. I used to fall all the time trying to transfer from my chair to the toilet because the seat would always slide when trying to sit. I put this device on my toilet and no more fall. Im so happy I found it.

The bottom seal on one was open - not a big deal. I would buy again.

These are a little bit touchy to install properly, but once in place, they are very effective. There is no doubt in my mind that when a toilet seat can move from side to side, it will, and over time that movement will loosen the seats connection to the toilet. When it loosens, it will allow more movement, and so on, until finally it is so loose that its unsafe, and you wind up replacing the whole seat. These little bumpers very effectively prevent the seat from sliding from side to side, and thereby prevent undue stress and strain on the connection to the toilet. There could be some better instructions and templates provided to place them properly, but otherwise, they are very good.

My wife has been hospitalized for over 6 years out of state and as I help her bathe I hate when the toilet seat moves around as I help her in the shower and wash her. This coupled with the brass bolts holding the toilet seat instead of the plastic ones and I know the seat wont move while I help her !

I dont know why my toilet seats always start migrating to the left over time, but they do. I bought these to try out, and installed them on a new wood seat. They were easy to install and they work well, at least so far. I dont think you could put them on securely to a plastic seat, because of the way plastic seats are kind of hollow and concave underneath. These attach with screws, and a plastic seat would probably be thinner than the length of the screw.

Let me start by saying weve gone through 4 toilet seats in a year.we have a tiny bathroom with the toilet right next to the bathtub and a toddler who loves bath time. That being said we are constantly sitting sideways and leaning every which to suprervise, play, and bathe our little one. Our toilet seats take a beating and having mini heart attack slides was inevitable. These things are amazing and I dont know why they arent standard with every toilet seat!! Instructions were a little confusing but we figured it out. Great product for a great price

I purchased them to protect my grandbaby from the several sharp edges around my home. They worked great.

After complications from a knee replacement, it put a lot of stress on toilet seats. I had to replace the seat every few months no matter how much I spent on the seat. A plumber friend suggested Safe-T-Bumpers and said it would likely solve the problem. I cant believe how they have helped, how inexpensive they were and how easy they were to install. Highly recommended!
