> 3 dayI bought this (along with a new toilet seat) in mid-December. My son-in-law planned to install it all, but Christmas showed up, along with the flu. I got to looking at the directions and realized it shouldnt be that hard to do. The hardest part was actually drilling the holes for the screws, my hands arent all the steady. From start to finish - 30 minutes. It;s seems almost strange to sit on a seat that doesnt move, bit its a nice strange.

> 3 dayThese things are awesome! The instructions could provide a bit more detail but the seat doesnt slide to the side anymore. I did buy a drill bit that I didnt need but it was only a few $... All you need is a rechargeable screwdriver, no drill or drill bit needed, you can drive in the screw without starting a hole with the drill bit.

> 3 dayMy husband is a big dude. After several months of his fanny slamming down on the bowl, it gets loose and sways from side to side. We put this underneath the lid and it holds it stable so I dont feel like Im on a carnival ride. I put one on my mothers toilet seat, too. My only complaint is that I had to drill into the toilet seat in order to attach this.

Greater than one weekLet’s just start by saying if you’re over 30 and you’ve pulled a muscle wiping your a$$ this is then product you need. We’ve replaced our toilet seat with ones that promise to “never shift” and “tight locking” and still as I wipe my a$$ I’ve thrown my back out because the seat shifted so much. NOT ANYMORE!!!! These things were so easy to install. And now I can wipe my a$$ without the fear of a pulled muscle. I will add we have a plastic seat if that helps anyone.

> 3 dayAfter going through 2 seats this was my final hope. I did not have high hopes but I was pleasantly surprised. These inexpensive little brackets are a life saver. They were easy to install and are not visable when the seat is down. They really do work. They will only work on wooden seats but there are plenty of those around that look and feel good.

> 3 dayNo amount of tightening or reinstalling could help my toilet seat from shifting after you sit down it, so I bought these not sure what to expect from them. Now my toilet seat stays in place when in use. Very easy install if you have a drill. Very pleased with the end result.

> 3 dayHolds the toilet seat in place so it doesn’t unlock or become loose at the hinges. I guess we sit on the potty weird in this house and went through two seats (didn’t have unlockable hinges) before buying one that unlocks and this. Didn’t even need the unlock but I’ll take that sucker with me if we move (probably not these are inexpensive enough I’ll just get another set.) Makes the seat immobile these rock!
