Contigo Shake & Go Fit Shaker Bottle, 28 oz., Carolina Blue, Snap Lid

Bottle works well, shaker ball, however, is cheaper and much lighter weight than the previous ones I’ve purchased in store. The ball actually floats on top of any liquid inside, which doesn’t convince me it is mixing well. Overall, works as intended.

This shaker is excellent. I love the one I use at home and just bought a second for work. The construction is solid and feels secure. The screw top does not leak and the snap top to drink out of has a substantial feel to it. The curved internal edges provide protection from many bottles that notoriously leave wet powder clumps in the edges. I always get a good mix and is very easy to clean. I simply fill it 1/3 with warm water, shake, and drain it twice. I have yet to have issues with this method. I would highly recommend for someone who needs a great shaker. And the fact that it is inexpensive is another bonus.

I bought this for a water bottle because the large mouth makes it easy to clean. I was pleasantly surprised that the oversized flip cap makes it easy to open and close for my arthritic hands. The large handle on the lid makes it easy to remove. I recommend this if you have hand or finger issues. I like it so much I bought another one.

I live off of these shakers. For years, literally. After trying many types of shakers I only buy this brand because of the fact that they are durable, easy to clean and they do not leak if you take care of them. If you put very little liquid in them and shake very hard of course the container is going to break. If you put the components on the bottom shelf of course, melting may occur and the threading may leak. This is how I take care of these containers, and some of them have lasted me for five years no joke. Once I’m done using it, I’ll rinse it out. Once I’m ready to wash it, I will soak it for 15 maybe 20 minutes in hot water, soap and baking soda to get any lingering protein smell out. I’ll hand wash frist before I put them in the dishwasher with the containers and the lids on the top shelf only the bottom shaker balls in the silverware trays and that seems to be fine. With a little care of these are truly the best shakers.

A good product for a good price. Down side is very slow to ship. Was several days before it processed.

Needed a new shaker and went to my local store and they all cost well above $12. I saw this product online and decided to buy it. I figured, for this price, even if it doesnt last too long, what will I really lose? Let me tell you, this Bottle is great; no leaks, mixes my protein well, and its super durable! I dropped it on hard tile floor and not even a scratch. Great bang for your buck!

I purchased this shaker cup with the express purpose of blending various keto shake powders in with water or almond milk. Overall, I prefer the results from my food processor, but that leaves more to clean up than by just using this shaker cup, so from a portability standpoint, its easy to pour your powder and water and shake it up to create a quick drink. Does the mixing ball included actually serve to improve on blending powders together? The jury is still out on that question! Pros: good price, doesnt leak when you have the top screwed down tightly. Just dont do what I did, and that is after not using the shaker cup for a few weeks, I neglected to sufficiently tighten the top of the container and the screw cap, and as I was blithely walking around my living room watching a football game while NOT paying enough attention to the shake and mix operation, I quickly (but not quickly enough) realized that I was dripping my drink all over the carpet. Also good: the design - it fits well in cupholders and it is easy to carry. Also the price is great! Cons: The only con from my perspective is the difficulty I initially encountered trying to clean the shaker cup after using it, and that has to do with its height to circumference ratio. Simply put, unless I had a bottle brush with me, I was not able to clean any stuck on powder residue from the sides of the cup as I couldnt get my hand in far enough to clean it, no matter how many times I put hot water in it and shook it like a maniac. That may have more to do with the powder I was using than the design of the cup, and as noted, a bottle brush works fine to clean the interior of any stuck-on powder residue. Cons:

I initially bought a similar one by Contigo from a Luckys store (similar to a Safeway or Vons) as a day-to-day water bottle. It was the one with the aqua blue cap and I absolutely loved the thing! It snapped on nicely and never leaked on me. However, I was clumsy and left it behind in one of my classes one day :( None of the other bottles Ive used since then compared to it. I was so happy when I was able to find the exact same one by Contigo on here for half the price. I was, however, curious as to why the price for the simple black one was almost half of that of the blue mixer bottle. Once I received this new black one in the mail, I noticed that that the black cap did not snap on as easily and was slightly more bendable... It was almost as if it was made of a different material as compared to the first blue one that I bought :/ and it also gave off a plastic taste/smell that my first one didnt... Maybe this was why it was cheaper? Nonetheless, I still use this bottle daily and the plastic taste/smell has decreased since then. It could just be a variation between batches. I still love the bottle for the purposes it serves.

Contigo Shake & Go Fit Snap Lid Shaker Bottle, 28 oz, Black The description threw me off originally. I was understanding this as the entire lid snapped into place. Upon receiving the item I discovered that the entire lid screwed on and the drinking/pouring spout snapped into place. This made me happy as Im sure you can imagine my questioning of a snap on top with canister for shaking things up with. That said, the lid screws on very securely, and the drinking/pour spout snaps into place securely as well. The inside of the container has no corners, rather just rounded edges. This definitely does help mix powders easier as they dont get stuck or collect in any corners. The little ball also helps break down thicker powders. Keeping it in the container also doesnt hinder the user from drinking. My only gripe is with the SKU sticker at the bottom of the unit. Not sure what kind of adhesive is being used, buy my gosh is it strong! That aside, this shaker is pretty good.

Originally, I picked one up at Walmart for my husband. I decided to buy one for myself after he started kidding me about not being able to use his own bottle. Its been sturdy and leak proof. However, you do have to push hard on the flip top to get it to latch. It sort of clicks once, but keep pushing until you feel it catch firmly. After that, its good to go. Even though we turned it upside down and shook it vigorously to test it, the bottle refused to leak. But, you do have to be sure that the flap is closed all the way. The inside is bowl shaped so its easy to hand wash or put in the dishwasher. I can put a large carabiner onto the handle and clip it to my backpack. The bottle itself is fairly lightweight without bogging down my backpack too much. The bottle fits into the cup holder in our van. The walls are fairly thick but its not insulated. I use this in the car, at work, camping and outdoors for iced or cool beverages, but not for hot drinks. Dont even try it with soda. The pressure builds as it does in any soda bottles. You know the pop that you get when you open a soda bottle? This bottle has a flip top spout. What I cant address is how the bottle is when used with the shakerball. My husbands shows no signs of damage even though it was dropped several times on a cross-continent road trip. But, I cant say how it would be if vigorously shaken daily with the ball inside of it. Ive shaken the bottle several times when it had ice cubes in it to mix flavoring packets and havent had a problem. The road trip is what convinced me to buy for myself. Its easy to drink from and holds 28 ounces. Refilling the bottle at water fountains on the trip quickly recouped the cost. Easily my favorite of the bottles that weve owned.
