Greater than one weekGot a great deal on the mouse. Wanted to try it out since I own the MM711. Not my cup of tea but would recommend to claw players. The glossy feel is different but I cant complain since I got it cheap

14-04-2025Gave up on Logitech (eventual button and double-click failures for two mice less than a year old). Went back to a wired mouse because it never leaves my desk anyway. Comfortable and responsive. However the color features get annoying real-fast so, if youre like me and dont care for the RGB light-show, download their software and turn if off.

Greater than one weekThe mm720 is a decent gaming mouse that is designed to be super ergonomic and provide good grip and fit to different hand sizes. It takes a little bit of time to get used to if youre used to ambidextrous mice. Impressive performance for the price, easily one of the best gaming mice Ive tried, lightweight, ergonomic, good grip, flex cable and overall build quality is good. The only lackluster is the Master plus software cause sometimes it resets itself to default settings and you have remap the buttons.

> 3 dayI use it for everything, but gaming mostly in the Sims and cities skylines type games.. so a lot of mouse use in there!! I had to buy it twice though because the first time it got crushed by a shelf I had above my desk that fell on it... I was really sad about that. But I would buy it again if anything were to happen to this second one. <3 thanks for making a mouse small enough and light enough for my fragile artist hands haha

> 3 dayIve owned the G Pro Wireless for the past 2 years. Ive loved it but decided to try out a lighter mouse. I decided to purchase the Finalmouse Ultralight 2 Cape Town. After that purchase and looking at a ton of mice, I decided to also purchase the MM720 because it was cheap, a different shape that I either like or hate, and lightweight. Worst case, I was out $50 from this. Turns out, worst case is Im out $100 from the purchase of the Finalmouse Ultralight 2 Cape Town. Pros: - THE SHAPE!!! I can finally rest my ring finger and pinky. This is whats currently selling me on this mouse - The weight - this coupled with the shape is really nice - The glide - the feet on this are very smooth, no complaints about the original feet - The cable - dont know if this is a big deal on other mice, but the cable is very lightweight and flexible - The side buttons - they have a hump in the middle of each side button, and so far I think I like it. I do wish the side buttons were longer, but Im at least glad its very easy to press the correct side button - The cost - obviously after purchasing the GPW and Finalmouse, I dont care about cost that much, but its definitely a bonus about this mouse Cons: - The quality - it feels like its make of cheap plastic. Easily the worst quality of any mouse Ive used. If this were improved on the mouse while keeping it lightweight, Id be willing to spend A LOT more on this - The clicks - I know a lot of people have had squeak issues, and so far I havent had any. Im still giving it a negative because thats a known issue for many, and honestly, the clicks dont feel any special. The clicks work well for me because of the grip I get on the mouse, but the clicks feel on the low quality side - Side buttons - I dont have enough use yet, but it seems like you have to click them in harder than the other mice - The scroll wheel - could be a negative or positive depending on how you like your scroll wheel. Its not super smooth, youre going to feel each turn. The quality of the scroll wheel feels nice, but kinda like the side buttons, you need a bit more effort to use it compared to the other mice In addition: I took this mouse, the GPW, and Finalmouse to Aim Lab (Gridshot) and performed a fair bit better on the MM720 solely because it felt so much more comfortable in my hands. I was able to get a score of 78,000 with the MM720, and 70,000 with both the GPW and Finalmouse with multiple tries. The glide was super smooth and everything just felt right in MY HANDS. I have smaller hands and prefer a palm grip, so this turned out to be the mouse for me. If you have bigger hands you might not like it because there isnt anywhere to rest your palm. If they extended it in the back a bit, it could fit more peoples hands. If you dont like the palm grip you might still like it, Im not sure. Personally, I hope more mice can be made in this shape in the future with better build quality. Im fairly confident that this will be my mouse for the foreseeable future.

> 3 dayAmazing shape and basically weightless. I cant see myself ever using another mouse for gaming. Issues I found: - Slight creaking when using right click (started about a month in). - White gets dirty where your finger tips lie. - Not all dpis are available (cant set it to 450, only 400 or 500). That being said, very satisfied. Next time Ill just get the black one instead. Update: I ended up trashing my white MM720. Switches started feeling cruddy after months of use. I decided to pick up the mouse again and ordered in Matte black this time. The reason I did was because I found Razer v2 opticals switches in another marketplace. Once I swapped the stock LK optical switches with the Razer V2s, the mouse improved exponentially. With the black version I received there is no creaking like my previous glossy white one. Still wish the side buttons were more flush with the mouse, but the new switches have made this mouse my all day use for gaming and work. Hopefully CM releases a wireless version with new side button design but until then Im very happy with the MM720 now.

> 3 dayAbsolutely love this mouse. I use it for both a mac and PC, with a USB switch allowing me to quickly change from one to the other, and it is a pleasure to use for all my daily work.

> 3 dayIve been using this style of mouse from Cooler Master since it was called the Spawn in 2013. Its unique, extremely comfortable ergonomic shape is simply perfect. However, this newest iteration is an absolute disaster, and Im surprised its been rated so well. 1) The actuation of the left/right click is so much slower and less responsive than its predecessors (Xornet, Spawn). In other words, you cant click as fast. 2) The scroll wheel has less teeth, making scrolling slower and not as smooth. 3) The quality of the plastic/composite feels much cheaper. 4) The prior models had a high quality rubber inlay for better grip/control. This new model (MM720) ships bare, with some cheap little adhesive stickers you can apply to the sides and left/right click. Aside from just being cheap, the problem is the edges rub up against your palm since theres no more inlays anymore (really annoying). 5) The Ultraweave cable feels like a normal cable with a loose sheath wrapped around it (definitely does not feel like a high quality braided cable). 6) The holes in the body of the mouse make no sense and serve no function other than to illuminate the mouse from the RGB lighting (no, it doesnt make the mouse breathable). All sorts of crap collects in there, making it a huge pain to clean, and all of the ridges in those holes start to collect skin cells from use. 7) Having to download software to control your mouse lighting isnt ideal. It would be nice if it was off by default, and then people who want to turn it on can download the software to control it... Overall it just seems like CM went the cheap route on everything, added some RGB lighting to cater to that fad, and undid everything great about the old designs. The only reason I give it another star is its the only mouse I know of with this particular shape.

> 3 daySuper lightweight, the glides stick on well. It works great after heavy use. The optical clicks are satisfying. Its just reliable. Ive wacked it into my keyboard a couple times and it didnt scuff. Its very durable somehow. Its just all around constructed really well, its built really good. The reliability with the clicks. The software is really good for it and helps you customize it and set your DPI. Its just really good. This is the mouse everyone is sleeping on. The mouse your mouse wishes it could be basically. -My husband, a very big fan of this mouse

Greater than one weekI’ve been using two versions of this mouse (one for work & one for gaming/personal computer) since late 2020. Im a pretty small person and have had to use cheap laptop mice for most of my life because of my hand size and that I prefer a claw grip. I’ve tried a couple other “gaming” mice before this, but they’ve all been too large for my hand and I can never reach any of the extra buttons without moving my entire hand. These mice have been a total lifesaver - way more comfortable than the portable laptop mice I had been using, allows my hands to spread out a bit, and are still lightweight enough to be comfortable. I bought a matte and glossy version (black and white respectively) and I prefer the matte version for long sessions. The white glossy has been super easy to clean though. I haven’t spent much time in the settings aside from setting up LED lights honestly, but I’ve been able to configure them on my windows machine and carry it over to my mac for work and the colors/settings stay. I’ll continue buying this mouse if I need til they’re no longer made.
