> 24 hourNOT A VINE FREEBIE --- Despite statements to the contrary, AfterShot 3 Pro will not read my DNG files. There is no function for easy duplication of images (for alternate treatments). Other bugs as well, but perhaps the worst part is that the Customer support is so terrible. Totally unwilling or unable to admit a known limitation or a bug, but will ask for more and more of your system information (irrelevant to the issue). I can only assume they do this to push customers to throw in the towel rather than try to continue through the inappropriate hoops.

> 24 hourThe AfterShot Lens Correction feature does not work with my Canon Powershot even though my camera has been on the market for years. I get severe barrel distortion with AfterShot 3. Yes, you can correct for lens distortion manually but the process is too time consuming to make it practical. So I contacted Corel Help. Their advice was to Delete my %Temp% files. Uh, try it with an Administrative user. Uh, send us your PC configuration files. Uh, Ill get back to you. After a week of working with them I got the: Oh, I guess our database does not have the calibration for your camera. Uh, you can fix it manually. Yeah, right! Im going to stay which LightRoom which corrects for Lens Distortion seamlessly.

> 24 hourI am a total amateur when it comes to editing, but needed to try something for editing the photos I take for my business.

> 24 hourWhen I ordered this it was listed as Photo Editing Software with a description emphasizing the ways it can fix your images. After watching Corels introductory video and trying the software, I would classify it as a file management tool that happens to perform editing tasks. In that repect, it is similar to Lightroom. It is not as powerful as Lightroom but it is affordable and does not require a subscription.

> 24 hourIve been using Lightroom since Version 2 to manage my photo workflow and edit photos, and Ive been pretty happy with it. But Adobes starting to push users how bought it outright to switch over to the Creative Cloud at $9.95 a month, and I wondered if Corels AfterShot Pro could replace it. At only $79.99 (or, to be honest, free, to Vine reviewers) it was certainly worth checking out. Two days ago I received a padded envelope from Amazon that contained what looked like a cardboard CD envelope. The envelope contained not a CD, but a slip of paper with a registration number. As with Adobes products, to install AfterImage you download the software and enter the code to convert a 30-day trial package into a permanent install. And as with Adobe products, you can create a Corel usr ID at installation (or after) in order to manage your Corel products.

> 24 hourWhen you get started and you eard of lightroom and did not know how to go around with (LR is very complex) you might start to look around for something that does the same thing. Or if you have enough of LR. There is a nice tutorial with a pro out there. If you are the kind to do just a couple of adjustment like contrast, sharpening and exposure, you dont need LR. ASP do that and more. It does not do everything LR does, like if you are a die had vignetting, they have it. But right now there is no white vignetting. But there is always a work around, you can export your picture into something like Photoshop elements or Paintshop Pro. Many users can be just happy with it, but did not eard of Aftershoot pro. Its still a young software, but they listen their customers. If you dont want to invest 10$ per month for Lightroom photoshop all your life, get into ASP. I donT know about the raw conversion, even on Lightroom not everybody is happy about it. I shoot JPG.

> 24 hourI enjoy taking photos with my Sony camera, but Im an amateur and have never learned an editing program. As a result, Ive captured beautiful moments, but my pictures are imperfect and need organization and correction before I can share them with family and friends. My pictures taken on my smartphones over the years especially need help. Many pictures seemed hopeless due to overexposure, blemishes and other issues, but Ive been truly amazed at how photos that are dull, overexposed and lacking in many ways can be transformed with Corel AfterShot Pro 3 into beautiful images to frame and share. Although AfterShot Pro 3 seems perfect for batch editing by Pros, Im using it for for editing individual photos and am really pleased with it so far.

> 24 hourI was excited about this program because I need a program for my Photoshops incompatibility with the new Nikon NEF raw files. If you have a small monitor, this may be ok. I have a large high resolution monitor (because I do high quality photography) and this program is low resolution only. After several emails to tech support, there is just no solution to it. Unfortunate, see photos attached.

> 24 hourThe software installed and worked without problems on both a OS X 10.11 and a Win 10 system. Overall the software worked really smoothly and I felt the learning curve was not very steep. Past experience with Corel software has been very positive and I have found they provide really good support if a problem arises.

> 24 hourI am a longtime user. Since they bought bibble. I have recently had to re-do my computer. I have been trying to get a working serial number for almost a month. They give me a new case number and a week later, refer it back to old number. Do not even try to call them. They are off shore and VERY difficult to understand. You ask for US based rep and they have none. So you ask for an ENGLISH speaking rep and 15 minutes later you get someone that is even harder to understand. All they want you to do is upgrade. I fell for that about 8 years ago when they bought bibble. No wonder they are struggling
