Corel VideoStudio Ultimate 2022 | Video Editing Software with Hundreds of Premium Effects | Slideshow Maker, Screen Recorder, DVD Burner [PC Key Card] [Old Version]

I have had a previous Video Studio from a few years ago. I wasnt an editing pro back then and still am not but do have a bit more experience now just by using the previous version. That one took me a lot longer to get the hang of since it was my first time ever using an editing software. Theres new features and all to get the hang of with this version but Im liking it so far and really liking being able to work with different effects. We like making fun videos at home as a family so again, not a pro here. For our needs we feel its a good and fun software to work with

Unusable. Unclear how to return within 30 days for my money back.

Installed twice, tried to run repair and even checked for software updates with no luck in running this software. Keep getting error during installation on brand new laptop! Customer service hangs up on you and technical support doesnt respond! DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!

Have to go around the world to try to download. I want to return but no help with that

I only really use it to make YouTube shorts. Great for that

Just upgraded, runs pretty smooth and does what is intended to do. I see improvements, btw thanks for the Prores, pretty handy. I also appreciate the few changes over the final rendering templates for MOV for examples, I can now get good quality vids using-custom made templates on there. It would be nice for users to have access to freely manipulate and create CUSTOM templates on any other formats like MPEG-4 with 5:1 Surround sound (Using the Ulead MPEG-4 vio Driver) and such. I mean theres always a solution around this for us content creators, but it would be nice. Thanks for keeping the interface clean and simple and for staying loyal to improve as requested. Somehow I feel the time-line lighter while scrubbing over 4k content on it, is that because of the prores-ProxY files? If so, AWESOME! I like the new layout for the SOUND-MIXER. :) Thanks for organizing all these different type of elements in the interface (like these stickers), hated it to see them among the video filters and fx. Oh, it took me a while to locate the SOUND filters hahahah, why would you organize these from the video filters and fx? I mean I know their filters, but IDK I kept on going to the sound-mixer to see if these were accessible from there, which by logic youll think their there... Just saying! Anyway, the speech to text for subtitles is awesome. Love it. One question: Is it possible to bring back the BCC BORIS FX or at-least make VideoStudio a host for Continuum 2022? It would be a bomb. Just incase you didnt notice, but users and filmmakers are using old versions of VideoStudio to produce music videos, documentaries and such. Improving or adding these plug-ins at this level would be simply amazing, more choices and reliability for filmmakers. Talking bout requests….. Lol Since you abandoned CMS3D, It’s a dream of mine to see Corel Motion Studio 3D fully integrated to VideoStudio, I mean you al ready have the layout template for it with the 3D tittles. That way we old school users still using that obsolete AWESOME 3d software to animate in 4K. That would be amazing tbh, I don’t care paying more for it, but I would love it especially if you also added the blending modes from VideoStudio to the 3D objects for better options and manipulation of the objects :) And…., Lastly a 3D camera tracker. I know, I know, I’m asking for impossible, maybe?… Thou lots of users out there often have to acquire a third party video editing application just because of those options that we do not have on VS. Just saying, would be amazing. Thanks from a loyal 15 years fellow user of VS. :)

Can not install: I could not install this software on window 10. It would give me an error stating: We encountered a problem while installing. Please contact Customer Support Corel Customer support: I contact customer support by phone 2 times and email twice. The phone support would could not assist further than directing me to the download link (which I already knew / used.) and telling me that their support team would follow up with an email that never came. Trial installs but wont take serial... I was able to install the trial version and not get the error (same installer). The trial version has a link to enter your serial number. When I do try to enter the serial number it doesnt let me type in the characters on my card. Video Codecs changed... After installing the trial, some codecs were changed / unregistered which didnt allow me to play some videos. I was able to fix by re-installing a codec pack.

Very disappointing! It will not download. Probably a ripoff like so many other purchases of video editing.

I needed some video software for a project and decided to try Corel VideoStudio Ultimate 2022. It was easy to install. I worked a bit with the tutorials and materials to practice with. I really like the tooltips when I hover over unfamiliar items. I think this is going to be pretty easy to learn and use. So far, so good. This is powerful video editing software thats easy for a beginner to use. I had never tried VideoStudio before but wanted something better than Windows Video Editor. This is so much more powerful, allowing things like smooth time manipulation, multiple audio and video layers, and easy to use title effects. Theres even video stabilization and a speech to text converter for subtitles. Its a great middle ground between basic editing and more complex software like Premiere. I was having a lot of fun with it editing footage from my GoPro cameras in various resolutions but I did run into a problem that may be just an issue with my computer but I wanted to mention it. When editing 4K video and sometimes 2.7K, the program will lock up and Ill have to force quit and restart it. This is obviously a big problem if the project file isnt saved. I got into the habit of saving often and it hasnt been an issue but its an annoyance that I cant seem to figure out. This doesnt happy with 1080p video, no matter how many video tracks I use. I havent seen a lot of other people have this issue, but I assume it has something to do with my PC, even though it is quite powerful. Im still using this software for 1080P video and its a great quick way to do a fast edit. Color adjustments are ok, nothing too fancy but you can do basic color correction and sharpness to quickly improve the overall look. Ive returned to using DaVinci Resolve for most of my color grading and 4K video editing and its harder to use but works better for me. Considering the price, this is a very good video editing package and definitely recommended for beginner level video editors looking to step up from the basic Windows Editor.
