15-11-2024Just upgraded, runs pretty smooth and does what is intended to do. I see improvements, btw thanks for the Prores, pretty handy. I also appreciate the few changes over the final rendering templates for MOV for examples, I can now get good quality vids using-custom made templates on there. It would be nice for users to have access to freely manipulate and create CUSTOM templates on any other formats like MPEG-4 with 5:1 Surround sound (Using the Ulead MPEG-4 vio Driver) and such. I mean theres always a solution around this for us content creators, but it would be nice. Thanks for keeping the interface clean and simple and for staying loyal to improve as requested. Somehow I feel the time-line lighter while scrubbing over 4k content on it, is that because of the prores-ProxY files? If so, AWESOME! I like the new layout for the SOUND-MIXER. :) Thanks for organizing all these different type of elements in the interface (like these stickers), hated it to see them among the video filters and fx. Oh, it took me a while to locate the SOUND filters hahahah, why would you organize these from the video filters and fx? I mean I know their filters, but IDK I kept on going to the sound-mixer to see if these were accessible from there, which by logic youll think their there... Just saying! Anyway, the speech to text for subtitles is awesome. Love it. One question: Is it possible to bring back the BCC BORIS FX or at-least make VideoStudio a host for Continuum 2022? It would be a bomb. Just incase you didnt notice, but users and filmmakers are using old versions of VideoStudio to produce music videos, documentaries and such. Improving or adding these plug-ins at this level would be simply amazing, more choices and reliability for filmmakers. Talking bout requests….. Lol Since you abandoned CMS3D, It’s a dream of mine to see Corel Motion Studio 3D fully integrated to VideoStudio, I mean you al ready have the layout template for it with the 3D tittles. That way we old school users still using that obsolete AWESOME 3d software to animate in 4K. That would be amazing tbh, I don’t care paying more for it, but I would love it especially if you also added the blending modes from VideoStudio to the 3D objects for better options and manipulation of the objects :) And…., Lastly a 3D camera tracker. I know, I know, I’m asking for impossible, maybe?… Thou lots of users out there often have to acquire a third party video editing application just because of those options that we do not have on VS. Just saying, would be amazing. Thanks from a loyal 15 years fellow user of VS. :)

> 3 dayIt works well enough as an editing software, but I still prefer adobe elements. Also, unless youre working with at least 3060 RTX its going to stutter an crash. It doesnt do well on my hp laptop I use for photo editing, but does well on my gaming laptop. Lots of features and fairly easy to use, definitely more beginner friendly than elements, but I prefer the precision of elements.

> 3 dayThis is one of the most frustrating video software programs I have EVER used. It is NOT intuitive at all. So, the learning curve is ENORMOUS. If you just want to make some quick videos now and then, I would RUN from this software. It took me over an hour of research online just to figure out how to set the duration of some photos on the timeline. There are a lot of icons splattered across the program but you have NO IDEA what they mean. You would think that hovering over them would produce a popup text describing what it does, but nope. So, if you click on one to figure out what it does, it might change the entire screen and then you have no idea how to even get back. I guess if you make videos everyday, you will eventually learn how do it efficiently, but if you just make occasional videos, you will likely have to try to relearn each time how to do it and even research online how to complete very simple tasks. Its a very unfriendly program for the occasional video project. Another negative of Corel is the SPAM. It is just awful. Popups everything advertising other Corel software. As soon as you load the program, youre greeted with an advertisement for other Corel product. As soon as you exit the program, another popup advertising more Corel products. The software wont even close until you click on the ad first. If you download Corel software, beware. Your access expires after a while. So, if something happens to the file- such as needing to replace a hard drive, you will likely not be able to re-download it again from the Corel site. So, you better keep a backup copy of the file. I would recommend getting a physical disc instead of the download so you always have a way to re-install it.

> 3 dayI should have read all of the reviews first ... After you have the program open and you go to add in your video the program just disappears like it was never open and quite a few reviews of this same problem .. I am on a brand new computer in my recording studio and thought it was time to update my video software .. There are NO REFUNDS for digital downloads ..Loaded with ADDS to upsell you which may be part of the super buggy software ..

> 3 dayI have used Corel products for decades, using Windows 11 and the latest updated product (this Ultimate 2022) it does what most of their products have done over the decades... if in doubt CRASH and disappear. First, it was set for PAL, which is the European standard, not American. Fixed that... used to crash just adding video to the DVD creator part of the program. Now I can put 3 files there, shows it will fit onto an 8.5 GB double layer disk... click on NEXT and Corel disappears off the screen... just like previous versions have done FAR TOO OFTEN. Its Super Flexible... it can fold itself into NOTHING AT ALL... No I do NOT recommend this Buggy Software.

> 3 dayPaint Shop Pro was the first graphics editor I ever used, and I still prefer it to Photoshop. Because of this, Ive been a fan of Corel since they took over PSP from Jasc, over 15 years ago. Still, before trying Video Studio Ultimate, Id never used a full function video editing software before. Unless you count Windows Movie Maker? The included library has a few images and video clips that you can use to start playing around with the software. There are sound effects, music tracks and more built in. I was able to create a short, simple video from scratch using the included goodies in about 30 minutes, even with no experience using the software and without using the tutorials, of which there are plenty. Sure, its not going to win any awards, but it shows the intuitiveness of the software. You can import from multiple sources, export to just as many, record directly from your computers webcam or an external camera, and theres a built in uploader for YouTube and Vimeo, for those looking to be internet famous. For the price, the functionality is superb. The perpetual license vs. a subscription is also incredible, especially with the current practice of making software rentable. I cant compare it to prior versions, but I can say that if you have a need to edit any video, this is superior to anything that comes on your computer or your phone, and anything youll find in an app store.
