Corel WordPerfect Office Home & Student 2021 | Office Suite of Word Processor, Spreadsheets & Presentation Software [PC Disc]

I did not like the fact that this item is a down load, I had difficulty loading because as I went to the web site to download I was directed to another web site that was selling winzip, in order to install the program I had to buy and install the winzip which was an additional $30.00. I also had a very bad time downloading and installing winzip because another pop up kept wanting to sell their upgrade for another $10.00. Also I could not find how to get a refund for a download. I will never order another download program again. buyers BEWARE.

Sure has missed this program for my writing needs. Happy I found this!

I bought this because I didnt want to keep giving money to Microsoft. There has to be another alternative to Word.

The Program has everything you might need for home, school or light office documents. Ease of use and modest price are the main reason for me getting this product. Along with prior use of Word Perfect Office.

I grew up with Word Perfect. It actually came out first before Microsoft became so popular. After learning all of the aspects of WP, I became comfortable with it and have used it ever since.

The WordPerfect suite of office applications *used* to be the office suite of choice before MS took over in the 90s. I remember using WP in high school and the 2021 suite still overall looks like its pretty much stayed the same. Obviously, the software has gotten much smarter but its still an extremely simple UI. Very easy to navigate the menu bar and within the applications.

You might not remember but at one time WordPerfect was the king of the office suite hill until it was dethroned by Microsoft Office. I put this on my Dads computer as it doesnt matter whether he is an expert on Office or not. He just wants to crank out some letters and do some financial calculations. The templates and clipart are handy so at times I will start a document here and the advantage before moving it over to Word. There are a lot of alternatives now for office suite software. This beats the free ones and is less expensive than Microsoft.

I so prefer WP over Word however, this particular version seems to take forever to open and now after using it for months .. the spell checker has gone on the fritz. I am hoping I can uninstall and reinstall without it using one of my licenses

This document software can be effectively used to prepare .wpd and .doc and .pdf documents, although maybe not always in a linear fashion. I had to terminate my .doc software subscription because MS refused my otherwise safe debit card and I had a large collection of .doc texts so I was understandably worried that Corels entry would be weak in taking over. I neednt have worried. WordPerfect can do everything that I was familiar with. This edition includes a spreadsheet (QuatroPro) and a presentation manager, but, although the label calls it Office it doesnt include an equivalent of MS Access (database) but does have a range of utilities such as a note utility which allows you to work with .doc and .pdf material on the same screen as the target .wpd. You can merge QuatroPro documents with a .wpd document, an unexpected pleasure. I can use the converter utility easily, though there are caveats, as Corel mentions in the header. Very satisfying, all in all.
