Greater than one weekIve been using Corel WordPerfect as my office product (mostly as a word processor) for more than two decades. This latest upgrade includes Microsoft simulations that are soooo important. In addition, WordPerfect is easy to format and offers a list of formats that in very extensive Set up tables and sort the contents however you like. This is a solid office product for your computer that, in my opinion, is just as good as a Microsoft office product at a fraction of the cost.

> 3 dayThere isnt much difference between the business version and student version of Wordperfect. If you arent publishing ebooks or PDFs, the student version will do everything you need. We had the same struggle installing the software, however, as we had previously had with the business version. The installation did not want to go through and didnt recognize the serial number. Once again we needed customer service to get involved.

> 3 dayI typed in the serial number 3 times and got the message that it was invalid each time. The product would not install. Really sucks!

> 3 dayI got this because I didnt want to spend all of that money to purchase (rent) a Word program, and once you get used to where the tools are in this program then you forget that youre not working with the Word program. Plus, you can interchange between both platforms almost seamlessly. I would recommend.

> 3 dayI got a new computer, and transferred all of my old documents. However, most of them were in the PDF format, and my Word Perfect will not open them. Is there any way I can access these documents with this Word Perfect program? If not, I will have to return it.

Greater than one weekI had no problems at all installing this software on a Dell PC running Windows 10. My main interest in purchasing it was for WordPerfect word processor, although I will probably use the spreadsheet functions also. I have fond memories of WordPerfect 5.1 and the power of reveal codes, but I switched to MS Word when my office made the change. Now I am making my own decisions, and I am happy to move back to WordPerfect, especially since MS Word seems to want to make me buy their program and pay rent, too. So far the program is working just fine, and I own it. Imagine that. (And they still have reveal codes!)

> 3 dayGenerally a wonderful and complete suite. I used it years ago in business, but had to transfer to word because so many businesses were using what was packed with their computer, and they could not translate my files (I never had trouble translating their files though). Got this new one to convert some files for my husband who has never used anything else, and some of my older files that I could not now read. He loves his copy and I am using mine as time permits.

> 3 dayThis document software can be effectively used to prepare .wpd and .doc and .pdf documents, although maybe not always in a linear fashion. I had to terminate my .doc software subscription because MS refused my otherwise safe debit card and I had a large collection of .doc texts so I was understandably worried that Corels entry would be weak in taking over. I neednt have worried. WordPerfect can do everything that I was familiar with. This edition includes a spreadsheet (QuatroPro) and a presentation manager, but, although the label calls it Office it doesnt include an equivalent of MS Access (database) but does have a range of utilities such as a note utility which allows you to work with .doc and .pdf material on the same screen as the target .wpd. You can merge QuatroPro documents with a .wpd document, an unexpected pleasure. I can use the converter utility easily, though there are caveats, as Corel mentions in the header. Very satisfying, all in all.
