In the late 1980s Multimate was the first word processor I used, and WordPerfect the second. WordPerfect was light years better than Multimate. Since then I have continued to find it the best word processor; it took Microsoft until 2007 to even have a truly competitive product but, even now, it is not the equal of WordPerfect.

Installed 5/30/2022 and was prepared for the usual Microsoft problems.

I mistook the S for a 5 for the pass code. That was my only hang-up with during instillation. The price is AMAZING! I dont have to keep paying for it. I dont have to be connected to the internet to use it. It perfectly changed Microsoft word and Excel to Word Perfect and Quattro Pro respectively. I used this software years ago. I really like some of the WordPerfect features better than Microsoft Word. I missed it, and its mine now! The only obstacle for users that I could perceive would be in the process of learning how to fully utilize the software. I am really surprised by the price being 1/3 of what Microsoft Word charges. I would not consider there to be any quality difference.

This document software can be effectively used to prepare .wpd and .doc and .pdf documents, although maybe not always in a linear fashion. I had to terminate my .doc software subscription because MS refused my otherwise safe debit card and I had a large collection of .doc texts so I was understandably worried that Corels entry would be weak in taking over. I neednt have worried. WordPerfect can do everything that I was familiar with. This edition includes a spreadsheet (QuatroPro) and a presentation manager, but, although the label calls it Office it doesnt include an equivalent of MS Access (database) but does have a range of utilities such as a note utility which allows you to work with .doc and .pdf material on the same screen as the target .wpd. You can merge QuatroPro documents with a .wpd document, an unexpected pleasure. I can use the converter utility easily, though there are caveats, as Corel mentions in the header. Very satisfying, all in all.

I typed in the serial number 3 times and got the message that it was invalid each time. The product would not install. Really sucks!

Continuing excellent value with ease of use. New additions to prior versions are useful.
