The arms are just about right to hold more than one bike. I managed to hang two bike, albeit with a little wiggle and unconventional hanging. Its been holding on well so far. Happy with the purchase.

These r awesome. Rakes, shovels, gas powered trimmer and blower, and extention cords r all off my floor, out of my corners, and hanging securely/neatly on the wall. I used a 2 drywall screw and hung on the garage studs. Very happy. Been up for 3 years.

Great for hanging multiple heavy tools like shovels and spades. Hangs 4 of these comfortably. Suggest you provide better back support than a 1.5 inch wide 2x4. If you can put a 2x6 across 2 studs, it will be far stronger. If you can span 3 studs with the 2x6, you can use 3 of these and hold a dozen tools. Also, consider the flexibility of the product; it can be removed and relocated by removing just 2 screws, and then remounted at a different location.
