Excellent for hanging 3 items. Shovel, broom, etc.

Lots and lots of shovels, hoes, rakes and other tools. My poor she shed carries the brunt of this weight, but it is the only way to keep our 30+ tools organized. One out at the gazebo to hold a couple shovels and a rake in case we come across another rattlesnake.

The bracket will hold 50 lbs., arms are long and padded. They would probably work great for bikes. My one gripe is the mounting screws, they were going into a pilot drilled 2X4 and the phillips head immediately stripped with my impact driver. OK, I switched to my cordless screwdriver, same result. I dont use hand screwdrivers, unless Im forced. I used different screws and they are on the wall. Now, no lectures about technique. I built my own house (yeah me) and I know what I am doing. These are just overly soft.

Purchased 5 of these 7/18 to mount two bikes on the wall in my home to protect them from the elements, while also keeping them off the ground and out of the way. Initially I was going to suspend the bikes by the seat, sliding the seatpost between the two forms of this hook, however, I ended up using 2 hooks per bike and hanging them by the rims for a more even dispersement of weight. I will most definitely be using the extra one I ordered in my shed, and will likely order more. The rims sit perfectly in the manufactured grooves designed for hanging yard tools, etc. I stained a few pieces of pallet wood with a vinegar/steel wool mixture and screwed them to the wall behind the bikes for additional structural support. I love the way it turned out, and I am hopeful they will stand the test of time with continued weight on them. Will update the review should any issues arise.

These things are rock solid and super easy to install. I have a ladder appliance truck and a fold up shopping cart in one. Highly recommend these.
