> 3 dayThese brackets look to be seconds, with paint issues which likely make them unsuitable for retail sale. As others have mentioned, these are silver painted with black arm covering. Mechanically, these are sound and work as expected.

> 3 dayGreat for hanging multiple heavy tools like shovels and spades. Hangs 4 of these comfortably. Suggest you provide better back support than a 1.5 inch wide 2x4. If you can put a 2x6 across 2 studs, it will be far stronger. If you can span 3 studs with the 2x6, you can use 3 of these and hold a dozen tools. Also, consider the flexibility of the product; it can be removed and relocated by removing just 2 screws, and then remounted at a different location.

> 3 dayI bought these to use to hold fishing rods and long handled tools in my open carport. I didnt want my neighbors to have to look at all my junk that i had no room to store. Units are well made and I love the rubber coating on the arms and the way they fold up if I am not using them. They do a great job of suspending things overhead and out of sight. would recommend

> 3 dayThe bracket will hold 50 lbs., arms are long and padded. They would probably work great for bikes. My one gripe is the mounting screws, they were going into a pilot drilled 2X4 and the phillips head immediately stripped with my impact driver. OK, I switched to my cordless screwdriver, same result. I dont use hand screwdrivers, unless Im forced. I used different screws and they are on the wall. Now, no lectures about technique. I built my own house (yeah me) and I know what I am doing. These are just overly soft.
