> 24 hourI was having all sorts of issues with my prints, and I could not figure out why. After closer examination, it turned out that the plastic arm on the original extruder had cracked, so there was not enough tension to properly feed the filament. After installing this extruder, my prints are coming out fantastic! It is fairly easy to install, and it fits perfectly on my Creality Ender3 V2. There was no need to change any settings in the firmware, since it is essentially the same as what came installed on the printer, but just made of metal instead of plastic. Also, since it is metal, I doubt that I will experience any issues related to a cracked extruder arm in the future. It worked so well that I purchased one for a fried who was having some extruder issues, and his prints have been coming out perfectly ever since. Highly recommended!!

> 24 hourAs said, they should just come with the ender 3 v2. The stock plastic part breaks and will waste several prints worth of plastic before you figure out its not holding tension on filament.

> 24 hourThe extruder assembly I got with my Ender 3 Pro machine was terrible - the gear being out of round and causing filament to under/over-extrude alternating layers. This Creality upgrade had all parts looking great, perfectly round brass gear, everything fits together nicely and works perfectly. No more over-underextrusion issue. NOTE: if you got an Ender 3 / Ender 3 Pro and the brass gear is *fused* to the motor shaft then this Creality upgrade extruder will not (perfectly) work for you. You will not be able to replace the existing brass gear in this case. The other parts may fit / work well / work better than what you have, but you wont get the benefit of the replacement brass gear unless you purchase an extruder stepper motor separately that will take the gear.

> 24 hourI ordered this with my Ender 3 V2 and am glad I did! I did a little research and saw multiple people recommend it so I just started with it and have had no issues!

> 24 hourIs this the best extruder on the market? Nope. The big brands (bondtech, e3d, ldo, etc.) are all going to push filament more reliably. This one only has a single drive gear, so its never going to power through partial clogs like those can. That said, its dirt cheap comparatively, so if youre just looking for something that can apply more force than the stock plastic extruder creality includes on some of their printers, itll give you a nice improvement.

> 24 hourThis is a good idea if you are planning on using the stepper motor that came with your Ender 3 v2. The plastic on the extruder wears out over time. As this is metal, it is a huge improvement. I am hoping to use this to set up a direct drive set up using some parts I printed from the Ender 3 v2! Will be getting another as soon as I get a second printer!

> 24 hourInstalled easy. Looked right. Could never get a full print after installation. Looked for reasons, never suspecting that a NEW part would be DEFECTIVE! My Ender 3v2 would print 1-2mm of a print, then it would continue its motion, but no filament would come out. It would print a leveling pattern perfectly, yet when I tried to print a part, I got only the first 1-2mm. After MONTHS of reading, reviewing and tearing my hair out, I finally decided to replace this upgraded extruder with one from Micro-Swiss. IMMEDIATELY, my FIRST PRINT came out EXACTLY RIGHT! Apparently the filament hole was off by just enough to shave the filament down one side and STOP IT completely by the time it printed the first 1-2mm. I still like the Creality printers, but Micro-Swiss has my future business, and Creality has lost it for everything I can find elsewhere.

> 24 hourGood upgrade to my plastic extruder. I bought it because my spring wore out, but I prefer the metal assembly to plastic. It uses a through pneumatic connector like the thermister which provides a much better hold on the bowden tube
