> 3 dayOkay, learned a lot about this board. The firmware versions on the file and screen dont match. I flashed to the latest Marlin firmware provided by Creality and found the screen only reads 1.1.2 instead of the version 2.0.1 that may be installed. The version that came on the board did not support my CR Touch. The clamps for the wired were a bit finicky. Once I did all the leg work the board seems to be working fine.

> 3 dayI had this for about two months and I got an E1 error. I went online to the official support and I follow all the steps. I opened everything, checked the wires, did everything the video told me to do, looked good. Kept printing, got a weird smell and another E1 error. Opened it up and saw whats in the picture. I contacted support but I guess I can only get a v4.2.2 motherboard as a replacement and the only solution was that my power supply was on the wrong voltage (which it wasnt since its been running correctly since I got the printer in December.) I dont think I would recommend this product. Looking online this issue isnt that uncommon. It is quite dangerous though.

> 3 dayIf you wanna get a motherboard that prevents excess wining sound. The 4.2.7 is worth every penny. I vacationally had to sleep in the living room next to the 3-D printer when it runs and now after this purchase just and installing I can sleep peacefully with less noisy sounds. This silent board is wonderful if you have to print objects overnight.

> 3 dayI can’t begin to describe how quiet the printer is now. All from a mother board? Best upgrade yet. It’s almost silent.

> 3 dayThis was my second board from these people, i returned the first one because it would immediately stop extruding. I sent it back and got a replacement, when the second one did the same thing I emailed the company for tech support, their suggestion was to try a different SD card... After some internet sleuthing i found out there was a conflict in the firmware with S3D. Ive been using Cura as a work around not being able to use my expensive slicer unless i flash the board with new firmware.. Then today on the very last day to send it back almost exactly 1 month after purchasing the board stopped working completely. Very displeased. I didnt even get a thank you from the company when i sent in the fix to the original Extrusion issue.. I ordered another board from Creality.. 0 for 2 Comgrow.. ill be avoiding your products from now on and passing it on to my printing groups.

> 3 dayThe install was somewhat involved, but mainly due to my ender 3 having its connections hot glued down. Once that was sorted though, it was plug and play for the most part. Can’t hear the motors at all now, the fans are now the “loudest” part. When I have my ac running at the same time, I can’t hear the printer at all. Only time I notice the noise now is if I’m focused on it. Print quality is really good too, so I don’t think there were any compromises there.

> 3 dayAfter hearing the standard printer noises for so long, it is really weird having a silent printer. This board silences all that, and about all you hear are the fans. Not sure how they did this, but Kudos to the engineers.

> 3 dayWe had a bad board on one of our printers...the extruder only extruded at half speed despite checking vref, voltages, and esteps. Put a new board in and worked great. However, I cant BELIEVE how much quieter it is! Ended up buying another for a second printer that was having issues and had a 1.1.3 version. I have a feeling the 3rd printer isnt far behind as it will sound very noisy now compared to the two with new boards...

> 3 dayIt is what it says on a tin, a silent board for your Creality printer. And it is indeed silent, youll be hearing only fans. Why 3 stars then? Well, if you plan on always using Creality firmware, you should read it as 5 stars. But if you plan on fiddling with Marlin or any other firmware… 1. You wont be able to use linear advance with this board, no matter what you do. 2. Its so short on RAM that youd have to disable features to enable pretty much any other feature. You want mesh leveling? Get Octoprint and kiss your physical control panel goodbye. 3. The drivers are soldered directly to the board, so they will always run in legacy mode, so no spreadcycle mode for your extruder stepper and no way to enable it. In short, if youre into advanced features – get a third party (SKR, TH3D etc) board instead.

> 3 dayAhhh.. the sounds of silence... This thing is great if you or anybody else around is annoyed by a noisy printer with the old drivers. If you already have the quiet drivers on a 4.2.2. board, its not worth buying. I had a 4.2.2 board with the noisy ones.. this fixed that. Starting to like my printer more and more
