Creality V4.2.7 Upgrade Mute Silent Mainboard for Ender 3 Customized Silent Board, Ender 3 Silent Mother Board

Overall the board is a vast improvement over the stock Ender 3 board. One thing i noticed though was the vref settings for the stepper motors used on an Ender 3 were very high. Especially the extruder motor. Set mine at 0.76v for XYZ and E 0.90v (about 90% of max values) The E value was at 1.3v, way too high for TMC2100 stepper drivers.

I love life again. I dont have to plan prints around my work calls (wfh, printer is in my office), and I can print at night without the computer singing to the world. The fans are now the loudest part of the printer and within a couple days they started to get on my nerves a little, which I find hilarious, and proof that the updated motor drivers work as they intended. They made some changes in the firmware, and I dont like how they moved some of the menu options around, but the board itself is great.

Im not sure what the Warmth, Noise level and Thickness options are doing on the Rate features thing on this page means but 5 stars for this seller!

This replaced the original mainboard that came with my Ender 3 Pro. This board is much quieter, and has a dedicated connection for a BLTouch was is nicer than needing to use the adapters.

I went from a 4.2.2 32bit board on my ender 3 to this 4.2.7 board and wow what a difference!! Amazing quality product and will 100% recommend to other 3d Printing enthusiasts without question. LOVE IT!!!! Can not hear the printer at all aside from the fans!

The printer is super quiet now. I forget it’s printing at times. The noisiest part of the printer are the fans now.

If you wanna get a motherboard that prevents excess wining sound. The 4.2.7 is worth every penny. I vacationally had to sleep in the living room next to the 3-D printer when it runs and now after this purchase just and installing I can sleep peacefully with less noisy sounds. This silent board is wonderful if you have to print objects overnight.

This reduced the sound on the stepper motors by about 99%! It is almost unbelievable how quiet my ender 3 runs now. There is literally no increase in volume from when the printer is on and idle to when it is printing. The only sound it makes now is from the fans. Printing is totally silent!

The product that I received was NOT the v1.1.5 board, it was the newer v4.2.7 board that Creality is sending out instead of the v1.1.5 boards. Problem with this board is that it isnt set up out of the box to work with the Ender 3, and requires a different firmware to be flashed despite the description saying it should be plug and play with the Ender 3 specifically, which is the whole reason I bought it. Its easy enough to fix, but right now there is apparently questionable support for add-ons such as the BLTouch, so keep this in mind when purchasing. I have reached out to Creality directly for support with this, and will update if theyre able to provide any insight.
