The Best for your money is this right here! I didnt give it a full 5 stars on install only because you have to be extremely careful with the thin power supply wire and the connect from the ssd to the motherboard! Looked at numerous YouTube videos on this install for perfect execution! First try and BAM!!!! A loaded laptop! Fast with lots of space!

As reliable as I could expect. Have bought about 18 of the Crucial ssds and have had 1 failure on a raid1 setup and I didnt lose anything. Will keep buying Crucial.

Quick install and works well

I am a photographer/video guy. I purchased my first Crucial SSD when they were new and very expensive. The speed is AMAZING! This drive work my 2011 Macbook pro and 2012 iMack up! Totally changed my experience. Photoshop premier and everything ran faster and more efficient. I still have my 2011 Macbook pro and will say its speeds with that drive are very compatible with my 2017 Macbook pro. I found that with what I do, the installed drives from apple crashed every year. I got fed up with working on a deadline and BAM! HDD crash. I always backed everything up so I was fortunate in that regard but what a setback. Installing these drives made a huge difference. They are still ticking and going strong. This one I installed in my fiance s 15 Macbook pro. Again, it totally changed the computer. decreasing the startup by 2/3rds. It was so successful, i did the same upgrade to my mothers and she is extremely happy. It decreased her startup time from 3 minutes to 7 seconds.

Works well in my Dell Inspiron 5555. Formatted it externally and cloned it overnight, then installed in less than 10 minutes the next morning. Boot time is incredibly faster. Much less wait on disk and less power consumed. Nice to have the old drive as a backup.

I purchased this to help turn a cheap old laptop -- a Mid-2012 MacBook Pro 13, aka MacBookPro9,2 -- into a decent daily driver with a slightly weak CPU. Installation was extremely easy and painless as this is just a straightforward 2.5 SATA drive and installs just as easily as any other. Performance is perfectly acceptable for my use case and I had no trouble installing MacOS 10.15 Catalina and using the (unsupported but easily enabled) TRIM support for third party storage.

Easy install and fast drive

This is a solid-state drive. My first drive of this type. What an improvement. Fast! Quiet! Absolutely no delay on start up. I recommend changing your hard-drive to solid-state. Highly recommended.
