> 24 hourSpend an extra $25 on a Samsung one. I have been upgrading laptop hdd from disk to ssd for years crucial is the WORST. Kingston isnt bad but I have to say I have never had a Samsung drive fail

> 24 hourI replaced the hd in my lenovo T420 laptop using same enclosure as old drive. This drive is quiet and fast. Only issue i saw was it said i had 465gb free of the 500. maybe its because I didnt format the whole drive first so be cautious of that. Saved me from buying a 600 desktop for entry level pc gaming

> 24 hourThe bad, the thermal pads used caused the drive to overheat then completely fail and I had to return it. Going to buy a M.2 next time. Used in a laptop upgrade.

> 24 hourI purchased this SSD based upon manufacturers reputation mainly - It being on sale sealed the deal though. Using the Crucial MX500 for DAW applications, I really appreciate how it loads large wave files. I really dont know if it would help gaming apps at all except for possibly faster loading times. I use a third party partitioning utility for a clean install rather than a cloning utility - which I see as problematic. The OS install w/ updates took less than 1 hour !! Hopefully a Crucial 32GB memory kit I can afford comes up soon - Ill be snaggin one up !!

> 24 hourVery easy to install. Clean install of Windows 10. Brought new life to an old 2015 laptop using a HDD. Incredibly fast!
