Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD, up to 560MB/s - CT1000MX500SSD1

Ok, Im not the best or wisest when it come to these upgrades but when i put this 500gb ssd in my hp laptop i could see an improvement almost immediately. Once i figured out how to install it the whole process took less than 20 mins.

The MX500 with 1tb of space replaced an old Western Digital disc drive, which is still in running condition after four years, thank you WD, in a Lenovo P91 M4488 desktop. I borrowed the sata connection and power cable from the CD drive in the computer, then booted the computer from a USB drive holding a copy of Acronis True Image 2016. I cloned the WD drive to the Crucial which took about three hours, removed the WD drive, moved the MX500 over to the sata and power connections that had belonged to the WD drive and it came right up, no problems. Ive had the drive for only a few weeks, but it has run problem free and has made a great improvement in the response of the computer.

Used for storing games, exactly what I was looking for. Initially was thinking of getting the Samsung 870 Evo but that was more expensive, and have similar performance and capacity. Overall I feel good with this purchase

Bist jetzt alles tip top. Läuft zuverlässig und schnell, wie von einer SSD erwartet. Der Preis dafür ist gerechtfertigt. Die SSD ist in einem Denon Prime4 verbaut und wurde mir dafür empfohlen. Der Prime4 braucht eine schnelle Datenverarbeitung, welche bis jetzt ohne Aussetzer und Einfrierung des OS funktioniert.

Really brought my older Toshiba Satellite C655D back to life. Wish Id bought a larger capacity drive now but I wasnt sure if it would be compatible with my older system.
