Greater than one weekDon’t forget to buy an adapter so you can install it in a regular hard drive slot. Works exactly like a regular hard drive only lightning fast. I kept the original 500gb hard drive installed you and do a nightly mirror of the two as a back up.

> 3 dayThis is a great SSD so long that you know how to install it and get windows to recognize it. I needed another drive since my main C: drive was getting full, so Im not using this as a boot drive. Installing was kind of a pain since no instructions are provided, so you have to figure it out for yourself which isnt terrible but something to keep in mind. Just watch a youtube video and youll get it. I also had some trouble since windows didnt immediately recognize it, and I had to format it for it to show up. No issues whatsoever once the installation was over, and the drive is working great now!
