DANIEL SMITH Extra Fine Watercolor Paint, 15ml Tube, Quinacridone Coral, 284600088

I have purchased both the Schminke brand as well as WN, American Journey and Daniel Smith. I think if you are a professional you have the ability to sense distinct differences. I am not a pro with watercolor - but i really don’t find anything lacking in Daniel Smith watercolor. I love this particular color - Quin Coral - it is vibrant and lots of tinting strength. You can’t go wrong

wonderful paint always

This color is used in almost every painting I do!

DISAPPOINTED. Great pigment. Sadly the tube was all squished up. Had to pour what I could into a jar. They should have used a box for package instead of a bag.

Low staining

Very rich color---useful, one I use often! Daniel Smith watercolors are my favorites.

I previously used Winsor & Newton quinacridone magenta that I liked but it was expensive for the size of the tube. So when I needed to reorder this pigment, I chose the Daniel Smith brand. I’m very happy with this paint. It’s bright, translucent paint that rewets beautifully and stays put when glazing over it. This paint mixes especially nice with other colors making colors from dark greys to vivid oranges. It is beautiful when painted with several glazes! With Daniel Smith, I’ve come to know the brand for interesting, vivid, and highly pigmented paint. I have several other colors from this company, and I’m equally pleased with the other paints.
