> 3 dayThis is a beautiful color and I really like Daniel Smith watercolors. Why did I only give it four stars? The color looks so much like Cadmium Red its really hard to tell them apart. Had I known this, I would not have purchased it. Sometimes I think you just need to stick with the basics and blend your own colors. I took a photo of the two colors on paper side-by-side, but Amazons add photo/video button is not working for me.

> 3 dayDaniel Smith water colors are wonderful quality. I buy these single tubes to fill out my palette. They are reliably wonderful to paint with.

> 3 dayAs usual, Daniel Smith watercolor did not disappoint! I have been mixing Pyrrol Scarlet with Rhodonite(both beautiful colors by themselves) to make a coral color. They do make a pretty color, but it doesn’t compare to this Quinacridone Coral. I’m so glad I decided to make this purchase. This color is so vibrant, and has a lovely creamy transparency. It almost glows! It is destined to become an important part of my color palette. The paint tube arrived in pristine condition, sealed in a plastic bag. The paint did not explode from the tube when I loosened the lid, as has happened with other colors in the past. It arrived on time. I will purchase from this seller again. I definitely recommend. Love Daniel Smith watercolors!

> 3 dayHad been wanting a tube of DS Quin Gold and it did not disappoint. Gorgeous and creamy rich gold. I did not achieve quite the same effect with Amazonite Genuine as the well-published images show. Perhaps those were taken with the old Quin Gold. It is still lovely and mixes beautifully with several colors. A keeper. Posting the well-published Quin Gold and Amazonite pic referred to above; not mine.
