> 24 hourThis company makes tough and durable socks, but this is the second style I’ve tried from them that has the same issue with the sock being too tight at the top. It is tight enough to interfere with circulation (like a big rubber band) after wearing for several hours...and I have slim legs! Too expensive for such a big design flaw!

> 24 hourBest socks in the market. Voormi’s are the only other brand I’ve found that even comes close. They have a very dense weave/knit and wear like iron. These are far superior to smartwool, icebreaker, le bent, Cabot and sons, or Pantherella. This style has the dense knit of the footbed wrap around the toes. Very comfy for long days on your feet.

> 24 hourIve been an aficionado of Darn Tough for several years and have always been pleased with their product and customer service-their warranty DOES work, if needed. Yes, they are expensive, but they do what theyre supposed to do. In the case of these, I needed a sock that would stay up above my calves and not be too thick to go in my motorcycle boots; and they do that well without hot spots. Though these have wool content, due to the thinner construction, they may not be as warm as the Full cushion version of these. I ordered a Large for my 11D foot and the fit is spot on. If you need a pair of tall, thinner wool socks that have a great company standing behind them, these socks are a great choice.

> 24 hourThese particular model Darn Tough socks seem to run on the small side compared to the others. They do stretch out throughout the day to be comfortable though. Either way, great socks. I wont give them 5 stars until I wear out a pair and have to warranty them.

We live and work in Northfield, Vermont. Our backyard is the perfect testing ground to make the finest Premium All Weather Performance Socks. We ski, snowboard, hike, bike and run in the most unforgiving climate in the lower 48. It is under these conditions that we design, test and manufacture our socks.

After so many decades why do we still knit every pair of our socks here in Vermont? We don’t do it because it’s the easy thing to do—we do it because it’s the right thing to do. We do it because for us, it’s the only way to do it. There are faster and cheaper alternatives but nobody ever outsourced anything for quality.
