These are very comfortable and feel great in the boots.

We purchased 2 pair of these as a gift for my brother. He bought me 2 pair at the same time... LOL... anyway, they are great... I tried them on when I had a cold recently and they made me feel oh so much better... may have cured my cold or at least lessened it. Now I wear them out to the garage... out to bbq and out to get the mail... I live in the country... sort of upscale country but they are perfect for going from the TV room out to BBQ or just to pop outside and not have to chase down a pair of shoes... REALLY GREAT PRODUCT and holding up very well to washing every 2 days... I like these so much, I am going to make them part of a gift pack for my neighbors next holiday season... Socks + Wine + Gingerbread cookies... Honestly, try these 1 time... wear them for at least 2 hours and you will be HOOKED !

In short, I need a wool blend sock that fits well, does not slide down / bunch, and that stands up to wear. After searching for the perfect socks these have absolutely met my expectations. Now to get winded. I have tried plenty of name brand and off brand socks over the years in search of perfection. Others have started out with promise only to start falling down after a half dozen washings or so, or they have started to show wear in the heels or toes in too short order, or even started loosing threads just pulling them on. I am demanding, admittedly, that a sock stand up to the rigors of my use, and am fine with paying good money for such performance. I have five pair of these in charcoal and a couple / three pair in white. I have put much more use in the charcoal. I am writing this review a few weeks short of three years after purchase. I am back to purchase more as they have finally started showing some wear in the toes and heels, so it is time to cull the old ones and move forward. These are my everyday socks. Year long, winter or summer, this is the sock that works for me. Wicking?...check! No stink?...check! I often wear wool socks for two days, turning them inside out to air overnight between wearing, because you can! Wool is no joke and Darn Tough has the blend and design down to a science. My use defined...I wear work boots all the time. Most days I am in them for 10 - 14 hours. Some days I get 15,000 steps in out in the warehouse on and off the forklift or out and about making deliveries locally. Other days they might be going along with me for a long ride in my truck where I am lucky to get in 4000 steps for the whole day. Weekends, if not at work, are similar in activity levels, just different activity. At the end of the day I would absolutely recommend these socks to nearly anyone unless they change them up or discontinue this particular style.

I now own about 8 pair of Darn Tough socks. From the over the calf to the just over the ankle ones. I have become a big fan. Price may be a little scary at first, but the comfort and durability makes it worth it. I have worn them for working in the yard in both hot and cold weather and to my surprise during hot weather my feet do not get over heated and cold weather they feel toasty. So they are all weather socks. The over the calf ones stay over the calf. I definitely feel the extra cushion in the sole as it is like walking on a nice plush carpet.

Bought them for my husband and he loves them. Super warm and comfortable because he hs outside and on his feet a lot. We are going to try some of their other socks.

I have used Darn tough socks in various styles for hiking, hunting, dirt biking, and in my military boots daily (OTC for dirt biking, boot cushion for the rest). They are a modern marvel that makes my feet happy which then keeps me from being miserably uncomfortable which makes the rest of me happy. I’ve never been a sock snob or the type to buy something “so expensive” (for socks!) until I tried these based on reviews and hands on feel at a local store. It’s all I want to wear now during hot or cold temps. The OTC model is tall enough for me to wear in my motocross boots. I ride tough Colorado single track trails and often are in these for an 8-10 hr periods while riding and up to 24 hrs or more at work and my feet love me for spending the $...worth every cent. Life time warranty for the most comfortable socks in history...can’t threaten me with a great deal. I bought a pair for my wife to try and she has also become a true believer in the feet savior known as darn tough. Since I started wearing darn tough, my feet don’t feel or look like little piles of hammered horse poo after hiking rough terrain for 3-4 days straight while carrying a 30-40 lb pack (I’m 37 yrs old ok, not as tough as I used to be). I feel ridiculous since I basically just left a review stating darn tough socks changed my life. I guess happy feet will change a man. Buy some, you won’t regret it...I don’t even know me anymore...”LOL” as the kids say these days
