> 24 hourI was looking forward to my first pair of darn tough socks, based on the good reviews, however, I was a little bummed, when they were too small and had a rub spit on the back of heel. The size chart shows that a medium is for sizes 8-9.5 mens. I wear a size 8.5-9 mens shoe depending on the style, but never a 9.5. My feet are also normal standard width. I do not have wide feet. I ordered medium based on the chart provided by seller. These socks are way too small and tight on my feet. There is no way these are ment for size 9 which is in the middle of the range, no way. The size for medium in my opinion would be 7.5-8 mens. They really should be more accurate on the size chart. Or maybe I got a bad batch. But, they are tight on my feet. Also, the cushion area inside the sock is a little short on the backside of the heel. I can feel the seam rubbing on my Achilles heel. The cushioned area should be at least an inch higher for comfort. The construction of the sock looks and feels like it would be durable, but I wont be wearing them to find out. Bummer. I was hopeful based on good reviews and thought Id order one pair to try out before ordering 6 pairs for a 50 mile backpacking trip. So, I now have a $18 pair of socks that arent comfortable for me to wear.

> 24 hourThese socks are so plush and comfortable they are like buying new shoes. I work for 12-14 hours a shift on my feet and these socks have been a game changer for my feet. They are worth every dime! They also have the best warranty possible.

> 24 hourI was very hesitant to purchase these socks at first, however after two weeks of use, best socks I ever bought hands down! I thought they would make my feet sweat, but my assumption was incorrect. They are made out of wool, so it takes a few uses and washes before the itchiness subsides, however after that, they are by far the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. I even used them to put on a new roof, and it was over 120 degrees on top; my feet felt amazing, and never smelt bad once. I have also used them on a few hikes at Yosemite National Park, no blisters, and my feet did not hurt one bit either. I originally bought two pair, but recently bought two pair of hikers crew and next week plan on purchasing three more pair. Yes they are expensive, but that life time warranty is definitely worth the money

> 24 hourI do not do very much hiking or work but I wanted some great durable socks. People rave about these socks constantly. I purchased them and they felt okay but after a few months of wearing them once or twice a week, they have a hole. Not sure what happened but I will be utilizing the warranty. Not worth 18 bucks.

> 24 hourThese are great for the winter. They keep my feet warm while preventing them from sweating. You can really feel the cushion in them as well. They fit great, and have a LIFETIME WARRANTY! You just cant beat that. My one suggestion if youre going to buy multiple: buy them all in the same color! The point of these socks is to have them for a long time. If you lose a sock here and there, you will still have complete pairs to send in for warranty replacement as they wear down over time.

> 24 hourSnug but stretchy, not constrictive. Mild difficulty trying to get my foot in properly aligned the first time. Sock is great at not shifting, so adjusting once my foot is in is difficult. Ill get better. Other than the price, loving them. But Ive gone through so many socks, I just want to stop worrying about socks. Finally my feet no longer get clammy in my drafty apartment.
