Darn Tough Vermont Hiker 1/4 Socks Cushion

I bought two pairs of these socks to wear while hiking the Appalachian Trail with my Merrell shoes. I was so glad I did. Not a single blister or any hints of one. They fit perfect, gave great support and kept my feet dry and comfortable. Im a fan and will be purchasing more. Highly recommend!

Took a chance on these & my husband loves them for hiking. Bought him two more pairs. This is a pic straight out of wash. Have been through numerous times. Will be buying more when needed. The shorter ones are in back ground, but prefers 3/4.

I was very hesitant to purchase such expensive socks. I can honestly say these are the best hiking socks I have ever worn! They are extremely comfortable, zero hot spots in my boots, well worth the money. Do not hesitate to buy these!

I have other darn tough socks and the trick is to order neutral colors for everyday use, these are good!

This is my daily wear sock and really the only thing I wear with the exception of some other low cut socks for specific shoes. So I buy the black and wear them to walk, hike and with my office pants to work. At the office they are tall enough, unless are wearing “high water” pants no one will even notice you are wearing ankle socks. They are not hot and are breathable. I love them when I travel because the wool content and quality prevent odors so I can pack fewer socks and alternate them over days. As for quality, i have never had to consider their warranty because I have had zero issues with the few pairs I own for a few years now. I did loose one a few months back but that happens with socks.

Honestly I did not purchase these socks from Amazon but from a local retailer in Kodiak Alaska, but they’re the same thing. The following is a letter I wrote to Darn Tough Vermont customer service which I still haven’t received a reply: Hi I just wanted to let you know that I am pretty disappointed with your socks. I live in Kodiak Alaska and work in some pretty extreme weather conditions so I don’t mind spending the extra money on quality gear. I found and bought Darn Tough socks locally from a sporting goods store and was initially happy with my purchase because the socks are so comfortable. On about the third or fourth wear I noticed a hole where the stitching comes together., expensive socks for quality thats appears to be lacking. I even bragged to my wife how comfortable they are and almost bought her some and me a second pair..glad I waited. Seriously, I have Walmart socks that have lasted more than a month. Maybe a factory defect? Who knows but $18 is a lot to spend on a pair of socks that didn’t last more than a few wears Brian

My son specifically asked for these for christmas. He hikes and rides his bike a lot and loves these socks
