I hiked with these and lone peaks in the snow and they were perfect, even when damp. I kept expecting the cold to creep in, and it never did. My issue was they never dried out. To be fair the trail was fairly damp, but i did no stream crossings or big puddles etc. I ended up getting blisters in between my toes from the moisture. I hung the socks inside my tent at night, but they were still damp the next morning. Ill probably just end up taking one or two more pairs, but I was disappointed that the legendary darn tough let me down somewhat. On a dry trail, Id still rock them for warmth all day, but had better damp performance from my synthetic bombas trail socks in the oregon spring. Fit - I have wide 11.5s and these were some of the best fitting socks Ive ever bought. Theyre still well-fitting, but definitely more accomodating for us big foot types and super comfy when dry.

My brother in law loves these socks. I get him a new pair every year for Christmas.

I bought two pairs of these socks to wear while hiking the Appalachian Trail with my Merrell shoes. I was so glad I did. Not a single blister or any hints of one. They fit perfect, gave great support and kept my feet dry and comfortable. Im a fan and will be purchasing more. Highly recommend!

These socks are high-quality Merino wool but are so tightly woven and have so little elastic but it is quite difficult to put them on. If you cant put them on then you wont wear them and they will last a lifetime.

Well I feel obligated to write another great review on these darn tough socks. Ive never owned a better pair of socks.

These socks were recommended by a friend but I was hesitant to buy them due to their cost. But I decided to give them a try and am now a satisfied customer. They should outlast any socks I previously purchased, and while they do, I’ll be enjoying their comfort, warmth and cushiony feel.

Just great for multiple use and good compression.
