> 3 dayIt does the important: force said, speed said, long said. BUT it seems to have plastic gears. It sounds like a toy. I dont believe it will last enough. And I dont know if its used or the finish quality is very bad.

> 3 dayIn the first photo you see that you cannot mount the LINEAR actuator flush. So if you wanted to use it for a sliding mechanism, you cannot. If you wanted to mount it in the interior of a door to use it for opening the door, you cannot. Second photo and thirdyou see the stud on the motor side that is to attach to the mounting bracket is so far off MFG tolerance that you can’t insert the pin into the bracket holes. Returned.

> 3 dayGenerallly this works OK, and meets its specs. However, the machining of the mounting pin holes is shockingly bad. Ordinary good manufacturing practices produce products with better tolerances than a hobbyist machine shop can. This is much worse than hobbyist machining level. The pin hole (at the motor end) is not perpendicular to the rod, which can be checked by mounting the actuator in one position (eg. motor facing east), and then remounting it after rotating it 180 degrees. On mine, the difference in rod end position was about 1.5 inches, meaning that the hole was drilled a couple degrees from perpendicular. Some hand filing with a rat tail file trued mine up enough to prevent binding, but of course, the hole is no longer round or straight. Suggested improvements: stainless steel anchor brackets and pins to make it more suitable for use outdoors. And, of course, standard machining.

> 3 dayI have had one in the past, needed another one for new machine. These work very well to move the snow chute on a big snow blower. Simple to wire up, strong enough for the job. Disappointed in the companys hardware kit to mount to the machine, sent cotter pins, brackets, but no connecting pins to hold the bracket and actuator together. I had to find my own.

Greater than one weekSeems like the power just isnt there. I have other actuators that work much better.
